Still in hospital but doing well!!!

Hi everyone. I am still in the hospital but I am doing well. Just got my IV & Cath removed. Moving to phase 2 diet and probably will be able to go home this afternoon.

So all is well. No problems at all! Just have some pain in my drain area & left shoulder.

I'm in the same position of you, I had my surgery yesterday and got home late today. I also have some pain in my stomach and left shoulder. Congrats on your surgery

why is there pain in the left shoulder?  I am scheduled for dec 1st and trying to get as much info from you guys as possible.

they fill your abd cavity with gas so they can see things better
it takes 3-4 dyas for it to be reabsorbed and the pain in the shoulder is from pressure on your diaphram i may be mistaken tho
