My name is Scarlett and I'm having a revision from a band to RNY on 10/28/08.  I'm so excited but scared too!!   The band just never worked for me and so the Dr. said RNY would be much better for me.  Let me know how things go OK

My date is 10/28/08 as well.  I think I am very nervous; especially about the two week optifast diet.  And of course the unknown...how will I personally respond to this surgery.

Hi Sunny, my date is not the 28th but the next day so we are close.  I am going for lap band in Detroit.See you on the losing side. Who said losing was nothing, they must not have had a hi BMI
I have been looking forward to this date for about 4years and it is about here.  My BMI is 57.1

Hi I'm Gtnadma-Jen

I have been waiting for 8 months and my surgery is scheduled for Oct 28th in Spokane Washington.  I am having the Gastric Bypass.

I am so excited I can hardly stand it.

Right on, Jen!!!!  I am excited too. I am doing a 1000 calorie diet for 3 weeks before tho. I am dong rather well (I think, considering I had to cut out all fat except up to 50 grams since January). Do you have to do a diet before hand?  Please keep in touch!
