Why are some people so CRUEL !
Hey Everyone
Need a place to vent... My poor mom who is 77 years old went out Friday shopping at Walmart with the senior citizens.. Well in Walmart she could not reach an item and asked this woman if she could borrow her husband to get an item off the top shelf.. she said " sure" well the man got the item and gave it to my mom and said if you weren't so damn fat you probably could have done it yourself...WTF....My mom who by the way acted in a way I wouldn't have said thank you... I dont get it why can someone be so cruel to an elderly person... i am so distraught over this it brings tears to my eyes every time I think of it....

I'm really sorry that happened to your mom people can be real ******** and she should have kick him or something. People don't realize that we have feeling I'm over weight and it has nothing to do with my height my husband as to get stuff off the top shelf for me and when i do loss the weight he will still have to get stuff off the top shelf tell you mom to just don't listen to people like that.

I am so sorry and angry to hear that this happend to your Mother. It seems that in out Politically Correct World only the Obese are still available as objects of derision. The media does not help... painting the picture as if it is our own fault that we are just fat and lazy... All we need to do is eat less and exercise more... all that does is SOUND simple and make the person saying it feel superior

That is just awful, but shows you that some people are just jerks. But much of it is to blame on our society (skinny and all that sells.) Even young girls are suffering today because of societys expectations bodywise (lack of self esteem) But the dove company is doing self esteem programs for young girls.... Yeah Jennifer
That's so awful!!! The lady probably wanted some to ""take"" her husband rather than just "borrow" him. If he talked to your mother that way just image what he is probably saying to her. I hope they didnt have kids... that would be worse...
The only thing we can do is pray for people like that and hope that at some point in their lives they will see the error in their ways..... Just a shame!!!
