VSG - Oct 7th in Peoria, IL

Well it's official. I got the call this afternoon with my surgery date. I am so excited! I really was hoping for sooner but it is what it is & I am happy to have all my preop testing & clearances done and now just waiting for the date to come when I start my preop liquid diet. This is probably the point I am not looking forward to the most.

So anyway, my surgery is October 7th in Peoria, IL with Dr. Salimath. I am so happy I chose a sleeve even though I wonder if I will be able to lost the amount of weight I need to be healthy. Can I really lose 200lbs with a sleeve? I sure hope so!

Thanks for all the support from the few people I have been talking to. They have answered so many questions for me.

Congrats on getting a date!

You are now the 2nd person I have known in my life from Peoria and the first one was 15 years ago haha!

VSG on 10/07/08

Ha Ha....well I am not actually from Peoria. I live 1.5 hrs from it but its the closed place to me that will do the VSG that I wanted done. Actually now that I think about it they are the closiest place to even have baratric surgery.
