I also received my date today and it is Oct. 1. Dr. Poplawski at Barix Center in Michigan. I'm excited and apprehensive.

I'll look for you. I have surgery the same day - same place - same surgeon. I have my pats wed a couple weeks before. I wi**** will come fast!. susan

Ya I am here and have been rescheduled from postponed surgery from 7/1 to 10/1. SO excited!! I have already done everything and just was found to have a genetic blood clotting disorder and needed to get clearance from a blood specialist 5 days before my surgery. Frustrating but hey- my Dr (Dr Lautz in Boston) is thorough and fabulous and I couldn;t be more grateful for the time that I was given to really reflect on what I was doing and educate myself even more- it has only made me 100% more confident in my decision. Look forward to spending this journey with you guys and we should keep in touch. Like I said- I havebeen through most of it except the actual surgery itself so feel free to grill me. ttyl Andrea

Congratulations on your date. I do not like waiting. I know it is best and it gave us the time we needed to get prepared at home. My husband had to put in for the time off. I am so excited but also nervous because it is another surgery and I have has so many for other reasons this is the first one I decided to have. Good luck. Sue

I'm here... Scheduled for October 1st in Puerto Vallarta Mexico.  I can't wait for it to just happen so I can start my new life.

I am having the same surgery on October 1st in Eugene Oregon!!! I am trying to get excited!! I need to get active here again so that I can start feeling that this is really happening! I hope we can support each other Lord knows that we may need it! Do you have to lose any specific weight?
