Oh yeah, I'm going calorie crazy too. I usually try to stay away from Starbucks Chocolate Chip Frappacinos but I feel like they put some kind of crack cocaine in them this week. I start my liquid diet for pre-op in 5 days and I am drinking one everyday! I'm feeling very guilty but I know I will never be able to have them again so that is how I'm convincing myself to buy them...

Thanks Carolyn! My pre-op day is the 9th too! I've heard many people tell me they do not have to do the liquid diet too. I unfortunately have to do a colon cleanse also. YUK! Oh well, less weight to lose after surgery right (whatever I can tell myself). Good Luck to you! Cant wait to see before and after pictures!

Topic: Weird Pre-Surgery Food Cravings

Has anyone experianced crazy food cravings as their surgery date grows closer? I mean I know it's normal to have "last supper syndrome" type feelings but I am having cravings for specific foods that I usually don't even like. For example the other day I picked up orange juice at the super market for the first time in about 2 years and drank the entire half gallon in like less than 24 hours. LOL, it gave me such heartburn but was sooooooo good. Anyone else doing this?

I'm scheduled for a revision surgery on 10/29/07 for a Roux-en-Y. Any one out there to offer any advise and words of wisdom?

Topic: Looking for a Plastic Surgeon in Long Island that accepts United Health Care insurance

Anyone have any information on this would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. I had the lap-band surgery March 23rd, this year. I am down 55 lbs and LOVING IT!!! I went down about 8 sizes in my pants (in a size 14 jeans right now and on my way to a 12). Anyway - UHC stated that if I find a Plastic Surgeon that is "In Network" they would cover 100% of a tummy tuck. (But they don't have any record of a plastic surgeon in thier network) ha ha So, again, anyone who knows, I'd love the help. I plan on doing a tummy tuck next year, I still have about 30-40 lbs. to go!!!!

My original surgery date was 2.26.07. I received a call Monday of this week and I am being rescheduled for 10.23.07. I'm excited and nervous... but I know this is a good thing.
