Oh yes I understand, because Ive been craving everything that Iam not suppose to have!!!! My surgery is on monday and this liquid diet is driving me mad.
Still dont understand why it is a requirement before surgery?(2 week liquid diet)

Call your dr, if you cannot eat your band is probably too tight or your not chewing enough. I tend to think your too tight.
Go and join a band site to get better support and feedback. I know most people here are RNY and not banded.

hey becky how are you? nervous huh? well relax the 18th is going to be an awesome day for you and im sure you know that its a whole new chapter in your life!!! so you have questions i can aswer them to the best of my ability and remember what i tell you may not pertain to how your body reacts to surgery or the gastric bypass whats your questions? please fire away!!!!!! i will talk to you soon i hope and remember you are awesome!!!!!

Hi Renee, My lapband will be on Oct 17, at St Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. I do agree with you, OH is priceless. The Illinois Board has meet and greet s so we can meet each other. Its like long lost friends getting together for coffee and chat.
I am now on a semi liquid diet,with one real meal a day until tuesday, and liquids all day that day. Then, Wed, my lapband is schuduled for 3p.m. I was hoping for an earlier time, so I wouldn't have to stay the night, but I don't think that will happen.
