Hey Annette, I am Angel, my RNY surgery was October 22. According to my surgeons instructions, 50-75 grams of protein per day. I have found Isopure at the local vitamin/health food store. It is a clear protein, I like passion fruit and blue raspberry, but they have many flavors. I don't have any problem getting down 1 - 1 1/2 bottles, sipping it all day. I also use it instead of water to mix up my sugar free jello, that really makes it easy to get in my required protein! Let me know if you have other questions. My surgery was on the 30th...and my stomach is grumbling loudly too!!!!. I am still on clear liquid until I see my dr. 1 week out..then I go to full liquid...But this gurgling is crazy!!

WTG Brenda! I am 12 days out and have lost 13.6 pounds as of today. My prayers are with you. I cant beleive you are exercising already. My doctor wont let me start until next Monday, which will be two weeks out. I had a hyatial hernia during my surgery, so maybe that is the reason. Blessings, Angel

hey everyone for the last week i have been dry heaving alot and i ask the doc what that meant and he said that i could have something caught but most likely have a stricture, i have no idea what that is and i would like to see is anyone else has had this happen ? please messege me back asap i am having a EDG on monday to sheck it out please pray also!!! thanks! kevin

Hi Jodi, I'm on Bp too. I'm down to one a day since surgery. Today I really felt great. Think I drink to much water though feeling a little stuff. Welcome to the loser side.
