I don't think so....typically you will lose about 50 percent of your excess weight in the first six months.

On the 16th (01/26/2008) I will be 3 months. I hope to be 50 pounds down by then. Does 50 pounds in 3 months seem slow if I started at 274?

I too eat mabey 2 a day. Im just not hungry! And getting in liquids is a problem for me too! Im not thirsty!

Hi Everyone! Keep up the good work!!! On My Surgery Date of Oct 8 2007, I was 245 lbs. I am now 200 lbs. So I have lost a total of 45 lbs in 2 1/2 months.

I bought myself a jacket to wear to work since I have to be dressed up generally. I usually do pretty well on treating myself. I also asked for two pieces of a special dark chocolate for Christmas as a treat. I didn't want more than that.

I was wondering what something silly or out of character you have done since your surgery for yourself....mine is I bought a red leather jacket....it was on sale BIG TIME...but I have never worn a lot of leather....but I put it on and it was a size 2X, couldn't quite button it but figured give me a couple weeks and it looked hot so I called my mom and let her talk me into it lol.
I rarely did things for myself or to treat myself...but that felt so nice doing something totally and completely for me to reward myself....what have you done?
