Please send me the requirments. I've never heard of this one before.... Your meal plan looks like what I'm already eating (except for the two protein drinks), so it doesn't look like it would be much of a change. When i read your original post, I thought you were talking about just doing liquids for a while to get things moving again. I've tried to keep a diary, but after a few days, I end up forgetting to write in it. I'll start again with this though. Jenny

So many good things that it's hard to choose.. 1. More flexible-DH likes that aspect a LOT! 2. More energy and feel so good..didn't know I felt bad 3. Healthier cook 4. People notice me, even the men teachers at school are making comments 5. I have a lot of confidence, and I feel sexy again. 6. From a size 24-26 at Lane Bryant to a 14 anywhere I want to go. 7. Wearing my clothes tighter and shorter, but not at hoochie mama standard either. Dh likes that a LOT. 8. My wedding gown officially swamps me. *high five* 9. I feel practically giddy a lot of the time. 10. I can get in and out of the 81 Camaro without rolling in and out. 11. I can sit in a theater seat. 12. I can cross my legs

Hey Jenny I would love to be accountability buddies and I know what you can do to get some weight off. I started doing the protein train on April the 8th and stuck with it for about a week and I lost 7 pounds after not seeing the scale move in like 2 months. I can email you a copy of the requirements for the protein train if you like, I got it from another forum and decided to try it after hearing everyone say how much it works. This is a sample of my daily eating habits while on it. Breakfast: 1 fried egg and a turkey sausage link 14g protein midmorning: Protein drink 26g protein snack: 3 oz deli turkey meat and a slice of lf swiss cheese 12g protein Lunch: Prepacked tuna lunch 21g protein snack: beef stick and cheese slice 13g protein midafternoon: protein drink 26g protein dinner: grilled chicken breast on a bed of lettuce 30g protein Along with this I drink about 80oz of crystal light. The goal of the protein train is to get lots and lots of protein which helps GBS patients to lose weight quickly. Trust me this works. Let me know if you want a copy of it....... Also if you don't keep a food diary then you should start it helps me alot with keeping myself accountable.

Topic: Monthly Goals - week 3 update
Sorry I didn't start a thread for week 2, but my sister had her baby, and I went to Jersey to visit, and didn't get on the computer at all. And I've been trying to get backinto my zone at home and work, so I haven't had time to get this together until now. So, things haven't gone well since my last post. Aside from going to Jersey, and not wanting to do much but hold the baby, my back went out again. I've been going to the chiropractor for about 4 months (twisted pelvis, which caused a pinch nerve), and things had been going really good, and then right before I left for Jersey, I took a huge step back in the progress. I don't know if it was the exercise I had been doing that aggravated it again, but I can't do anything. I'm in constant pain and can't even do the dreadmill without wanting to cry. Just sitting in my office chair hurts and I keep getting pain down my leg. And if that wasn't bad enough, my scale showed I gain 3lbs this morning. I'm hoping that was a mistake, or that I was retaining water (or even poop!) and I'll go back down tomorrow. Either way, I'm still 15lbs away from the 100lb mark, and now its only 9 days until my 6 month date. I'm contiplating doing the liquid diet for a few days, in the hopes of getting things moving again. I'm going to talk to my chiropractor tomorrow on what I can do to get some excersise in that would be okay on my back, but that will help in weight loss. They gave me some back strengthening excercises, but those aren't going to help lose any weight. I hope everyone else is doing well, and hopefully close to meeting goal, or even there already!

Hey Demetis! I can totally relate. I've been hoping to get to 100lbs lost by the end of the month, but in the last two days, after not really moving much this month, my scale actually showed a 3lb gain! How is that even possible!!?? I started a thread this month to try to be accountable to meet my goals (I do better when others know what I'm trying to accomplish) and had been doing good at the beginning of the month, but then I went to visit by sister and her new son, and I twisted my back again, so I've been side tracked on the exercise again. I've been tempted to go back to a week or so of liquids to see if that would help. I keep thinking that now would be a good time to do it, since I still don't have an appetite and it would be easier than when i do get that back. Are you going to do the 5 day pouch test, or just the liquid diet you were on right after surgery? If you want a buddy to talk to/get support from during this, let me know, and I'll do it with you. I really want to hit 100 by next Wednesday. Jenny
