Hello all, I'm new to this board and the website in general but I just found out that barring my insurance company not coming through I have a surgery date for October 16th! Anyone had good luck with Carefirst BCBS PPO?

I am with you! No rockers.....unless its rockin on a dance floor! I love the support here. It is so hard to believe we can be a thousand miles apart, and still supporting each other daily!
Their are many of us in October now, our lives will all change before the new year! We can all be celebrating together, just a bit less of each of us!

Topic: Double Anniversary
I can't believe it but I have a surgery date. It only took 6 days to receive word from TriWest of my approval. My surgery date is October 15th (just one day before my 3rd wedding anniversary). My husband wasn't exactly thrilled that it was so close to our anniversary but it does fall before a weekend so we can still celebrate a couple of days early. For me, I'm excited to have them together. It will be a double anniversary every year! 
I'm thankful that I didn't have to wait so long for my insurance company to respond but the next 38 days will be interesting.

thank you for very supportive response. I was so excited to read that we have the same date. I have got dissapointment one after another with denials from my insurance. All of a sudden I got approved a few weeks ago. I feel so blessed. It will be interesting to share our experiences with eachother seeing where going on the same day. Good luck to you also. We're going to get through this together.

Congratulations Angel. I am scheduled for just a few weeks before you, Oct. 1st. We will certainly be starting new lifes, I feel like this will be the start of my second chance. I too am a Grammy,only 1 for me so far and I so look forward to being able to keep up with her. No Grammy sitting in the rocker for us!
