Hi, My surgery is set for Oct. 30 and I am beginning the final preparations. I am not sure what the most important thing I have to be aware of when I return hom after the surgery.

My Surgery Date is Oct. 15th as well. Congratualtions to you all.

We will all have the same new birthdate. I too cant stop talking about it. Yet I have some weight to loose, I am totally dedicated to putting all my efforts into it. Best wishes to all

Exactly two weeks prior to surgery my doctor has me substituting two meals a day with either a Boost Glucose Control shake or a Carnation Instant Breakfast shake. The other meal is 4oz. of protein and all the leafy green non-starchy vegetables you want. You can also have two snack which can either be a small apple, 10 carrotts, on low-fat, low sugar yogurt. And of course 64 oz. of non caloric, non-carbonated, sugar-free liquid.

Lap Band on 10/08/07

They called today and my Lap Band is scheduled for Oct 8th! Everything is happening is speeding up now. I am nervous too. I took 2 weeks off just to get use to everything. Tonight I am going to the mandatory Pre- Op meeting. 11 days and counting...
