Okay - today is the beginning of the October Surgeries! I'm having mine on Wednesday and promise to post as soon as I can. I'm nervouse as heck but when I look at the before and after pictures.... I know it will be worth it...

My surgery is in the morning and I know just how you are feeling. I waited so long for this , thought I was fully prepared and today my emotions have been all over the place. I'm excited of course, getting just a little nervous, and have been wondering like you if this is really going to work. I know that if we follow the dietary guidlines, get in some exercise and allow this tool to work for us we will lose the weight once and for all. Good luck as your day approaches. I'll be looking for your posts on this board so that we can keep track of each others amazing progress

Wooohoooo! Its finally here. I'm am so excited yet so nervous. All I need now is to pray my brother stops dragging his feet about bringing my treadmill over to my house. Its a long story about that so I wouldn't want to bore you with it. I got depressed today when I have asked him twice to help me get it over. He was busy watching TV. As my best friend told me, just go walk down my driveway until I can figure out how to get it home. She helped me get back on track with being happy again. My sister-in-law had also upset me a bit. She is a nurse is taking me home after surgery. Going into their home I was so happy about it that I was dancing saying I have lost 40 lbs already, and this time next year I will be looking good and before I turn 50, I will be fabulous! She said she needed her "waders" as it was getting deep. Roller coaster of emotions today. I got online to help boost me back up and I know this site always does. Pray for me tomorrow. My new life will begin finally! THanks to all who are supports in this endeavor.

Oh wow, I didn't realize we were the same day! That would be awesome if you would share your 3-day. I have my pre-op labs, meet with nut and sleepy dr. on the 18th. I'll be excited to hear how you're doing, too!!

Topic: Feeling so many emotions............
Hey there folks,
I thought I would post on this board as I can't be the only one rollercoastering with emotions. I am so excited and find myself organizing my life........getting rid of house clutter, working very hard at my job so it won't be much work to cover and trying to exercise as much as possible.
At the same time, I have some fear and want to grab the people close to me and shake them, yelling "do you have any damn idea what I'm doing here????!!!!". For a variety of reasons ranging from what the hell am I thinking and why does it seem like no big deal to you?
Also, am on the Oregon board and the person who had surgery with my Dr. the most recently is having a lot of problems and has to go back in because of internal bleeding. Holy Crap!!!!! ~~scarey............
So, just wanted to get that out to people who probably understand the insanity of my mind right now.
