My surgery date is set for 15th! I am so psyched...i didn't think it would happen until the end of the month at the earliest......WOW!!

Mine is Oct. 11th also...............I think the nervousness goies with the reality that this is finally going to happen. I feel the same but yet I am a little excited too!

its almost here!!!! My date is the 10th good luck, hope that liquid diet isnt too bad. IT WILL BE WORTH IT !!!!!!! THINK BIG PICTURE!!!

I know exactly how you feel!

I have been working at this since march and people in my support group that came in after me, are already done.

but i can tell you that it doesn't seem like it now but with less then a week from my date and everything complete as of (yesterday). I can now look back and say wow that last month went kind of fast! It will be here before you know it, just remember that your time is going to be right and great for you!

Good luck with the surgery and keep your chin up it will happen!

Hello, I had the lapband in april,2005 and gave birth to healthy baby girl that will turn 1 next week. I didn't have any problems they took out fill , had no problem eating didn't gain much weight.

Topic: My new life begins tomorrow! & Good luck to all!

I just wanted to wish everyone the BEST of luck with their upcoming surgery! I'm due in at 9:30 am Thursday morning for my lap-band at Brigham and Women's in Boston, MA. Hopefully will be home sometime Friday. They're going to repair a small hiatal hernia they'd found about a month ago. Figure they'll just fix it while they're in there. Hope that won't add to the recovery time, but if it does, I'll deal, right?! I'll try to drop a note asap when I get home... again, good luck and best wishes to all my fellow patients!
