Eleven months ago today!!!
I traveled from North Carolina to Michigan and had my gastric sleeve surgery VSG done 11 months ago today. I have lost from 255 lbs to 127 lbs a total weight loss of 128 lbs. I actually wanted to maintain around 145, since I am a large frame person. During the last 11 months my gallbladder went bad and I had to get it removed. I eat basically anything I want to eat or drink just very small amounts. I eat less at a time than my 2 & 3 yr. old children. If I have a desire for something sweet I keep on hand these snack cakes called 100 calorie cakes and I also buy sugar free icecream and it is surprisingly good. I am slowing down on my weight loss so maybe I am finally about to start maintaining my weight. And for anybody wondering, YES I would do it again. I have gone from a size 22 in pants to a 2.
