cookout dessert

I'm going to a cookout with some co-workers and I have been asked to bring dessert....of all things... Any suggestions. I can only think of a fruit platter, but fruit is pretty expensive... any suggestions are appreciated

i cant think of any off hand but have you ever visted eggface's profile? she has TONS of recipes on there.

hi you could make a fruit fluff 1 lg.can crushed pinapple (No sugar added kind) - 1 lg box SF jello any flavor you like 1lg box SF vanilla pudding 2 SF cool whip open and place the pinapple with it juice add jello pudding and mix you can also at this time add other canned fruit as well, fold in cool whip, and their you go , simple and cheep and very good, it makes a very nice dish to pass . hope that helps.
