I was losing hair, and I uped my protien intake and got a better multi vitiman and it has helped a lot.

I also had surgery in October. Started losing hair in January. I got a shorter cut so I wouldn't notice the handfuls so much in the shower. My understanding is that it is the norm for most people. My hairdresser had the surgery 5 years ago and lost tons of hair, but it is all back now. Don't panic - just get a short cute do and enjoy the weight loss. I know I am. I have lost 71 pounds since 10/16 and feel terrific.

My hairdresser also recommended the Nioxin and it has helped. You have to get it from a professional or a beauty supply.

I'm losing hair in my hairbrush and in the shower drain, but not big hunks at a time and not so much that anyone can tell. Are you getting in enough protein and taking vitamins? Everybody's body reacts differently to things.
