Help I don't want to eat
I don't enjoy food anymore, either. As long as you're getting in your protein, that'll help.
Someone said that you go from living to eat to eating to live.
I finally know what full feels like, and I definitely know what too full feels like! My DH finally has it through his head that I can't eat hamburger anywhere except at home and 97% fat free at least. He's made me sick too many times on hamburger patties...don't care if I see another one.
I miss spaghetti and lasagna...maybe further out I can try those. I didn't realize how much of a carb girl I am.
Hi Janet: I had the same problem initially .... very hard to get motivated to eat ANYTHING. However, I focused on 2 things: I used a timer and made sure I attempted something small every 2 hours - instead of 3 meals a day. I can't do 3 meals a day ... never could. Also - I used the "Nectar" protein drinks ... mixed only with water ... and sipped them slowly to make them last. 3 per day provided the 68 grams of protein I needed, and now 3 months out, I am able to eat small portions of protein every 2 hours and I only drink 1 (or sometimes 2) protein drinks per day to make sure I get the protein amounts.
I had trouble with all the fancy "recipes" for the protein drinks, and found instead that keeping it simple was more palatable. (Lemonade flavor "Nectar" w/water only is easy to drink.)
Good luck ... and remember .... things change frequently ... you could feel very differently at any time. :)
