Ok how much exercise are each of you getting in and what are you doing? I'm almost 4 weeks out and I am walking about 13-15 mins a day on the treadmill. I started with 10 mins and working my way up. I walk at 1.8 miles per hour so that gets me between a lap and half and two laps. I know I need to add more exercise in to my day but I go back to work on Monday and I know it will take a lot out of me....plus I am still over 300lbs lol.

I can't do any weights yet cause my surgery was open and I still can't lift more than a few pounds for a 2-3 more weeks. I figure if I atleast walk right now....no matter how bad I feel...then I am doing more than I did before surgery. I'm hoping that I can walk at home everyday and walk around the parking deck at work once I go back as well. Maybe get someone to walk around with me for 15-20 mins at lunch. My goal is I want to be able to go with my daughter to her kick boxing class and not feel like I'm going to fall over. Maybe 30-40 more lbs off and I will be able too do that as well!

I hap my surgery open for several reasons.... 1. My dr recently switched to a new hospital and while he normally does them lap it's new equipment and a 6 hour surgery is not where you want to get use to it. 2. although I lost weight before surgery my liver was still enlarged....so it was safer open. 3. One of my ovaries was enlarged and was biopsied at the same time during my surgery. 4. There were a few other things he needed to look at while he was in there as well. I do not regret having it open at all. I was up and walking the halls 12 hours after my surgery and my incision has already healed up....no staples or stitches on the outside and the incision is perfectly straight and hell I'm going to have the skin removed one day anyway lol.

My surgey was on Tuesday, I got home around 8pm Wednesday night and I am still in alot of pain. Hoping this will end soon. it more pain and alot harder then I expected it to be. I can't drink anything cold, my new pouch doesn't like it, and I can't stand the taste of anything but the popsicles. So I've been living off of those and ice chips.
