The wait is horrible

I have to call next week to set up my physical....and my surgery should be in November..... but I get the feeling its not going to go the way I want it..... Im nervous, and a bit annoyed , that people in my family have got gastric done before me, after i said i was gona do it.... ive been at this for a year now, and still waiting... it just sucks....... Anita if you read this, when my surgery does happen can I stay with you please? If not thats ok, I'll try to make other plans. But my friend Betty-Jean .. she had it done on july 31 ..well shes doing awesome... down 50lbs.. saw her yesterday she was in a jean skort..and black shirt.. looked great.

I'm sorry, I know what you mean. I know at least 3 people that have had it done since I said that I was going to do it. Do you think it has anything to do with envy? I too have been at this for over a year. (Do you have Kaiser by any chance) they make it tough! Anyways, my date was finall scheduled for october 30...now all I have to do is wait some more! I know exactly how you feel! I have been working at this since march and people in my support group that came in after me, are already done. but i can tell you that it doesn't seem like it now but with less then a week from my date and everything complete as of (yesterday). I can now look back and say wow that last month went kind of fast! It will be here before you know it, just remember that your time is going to be right and great for you! Good luck with the surgery and keep your chin up it will happen!
