Walking right away is encouraged. I think after 6 weeks is when most docs say you can start going to the gym or doing other kinds of exercise. As for plastics after wt loss, the people at my support group meetings say exercise, exercise, exercise, and drink plenty of water. They swear that is the key to great looking skin and less saggy skin. I don't know what they look like under their clothes, but they sure look good with their clothes on, it doesn't appear as though they would need plastics.

You need to find a good gym now, and set up an appt. with a personal trainer. They will set you up, and I will admit it will not be easy. To get the skin to go away, you have to work the fat off and replace it with lean muscle. Believe me, I have already done the above, and don't be embarrassed. My date is Oct. 24, and I am starting now, so I won't be in so much pain later. Think of it this way, do you really want to have surgery again??? Good Luck. danielle
