I Have My Date 10/15

Hi, everyone am I the only one that is afraid to have the surgery now that my date is set? And what do you eat weeks before the surgery,my pre-op is 10/4 with Dr. William S. Richardson. Anyone Help!!! Pray For Me

My surgery is the same day. I have my pre-op on Oct 2. I am a little afraid, as it is major surgery and it is a life changing event. I have read some posts from people *****gretted their decision, but most of all I read about good things, especially at the message forum from my surgeon. Before the surgery, my surgeon just has us eat normal, then 4-7 days (depending on your starting weight) my surgeon has us do a liquid diet and bowel prep and a day of antibiotics the day before surgery. I'm ready for all of it, but I'm sure as the date creeps closer and closer I'll start getting more nervous. Just keep in mind the reason you are doing this. And congratulations on your date.
