Happy Surgiversary. I'm so happy for you for all the changes you have made inside and out. I'm glad that this surgery has be so life altering and has released you from the weight prison. I am glad to have gotten to know you over the past year and to have been able to be here for each other.

Hee Hee...I spent mine by sitting in a lawyers office closing on a refinance for your house to pay for my PS that is coming up in a month. After that, Dave and I went out to dinner since we had a sitter for the evening. I even took off work that night, but that was because Friday was my "Girl's Night" and I wanted to be rested for my friends. It was a nice day. I kept saying "A year ago, I couldn't even drink water...look at me now."
I wish I had thought of the Massage idea. Perhaps I will keep it in mind and treat Dave to one on his Surgiversary in February. (that'll make me look more thoughtful than him...Hee Hee)

THANKYOU EVER SO MUCH FOR THE RE-BIRTHDAY CARD I RECIEVED IN THE MAIL TODAY!!! GETTING THIS UNEXPECTED CARD FROM YOU MADE ME SMILE....AND OMG GIRL YOU ARE DOING FANTASTIC!!!!! YOU WEIGH LESS THAN I DO NOW!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN YOU TELL I AM EXCITED FOR YOU??? LOL
I AM DOING OK, SORRY FOR NOT POSTING HERE ANYMORE...I AM HOOKED ON THE OVER 50 FORUM AND EVEN THERE I AM NOT ON MUCH....BUT OCCASIONALLY I DO PEEK IN HERE TO SEE HOW EVERYONE IS DOING. MY HUSBAND IS HAVING ALOT OF MENTAL PROBLEMS SINCE JULY AND ITS BEEN A HORRIFIC TIME TRYING TO GET HIM PLACED IN A NURSING HOME...AND YES HE IS STILL HERE AT HOME!!!! THE SYSTEM ISN'T WORKING FOR US AT ALL....HOPEFULLY MONDAY THE DR WILL HAVE SOME NEWS FOR ME. SO NEEDLESS TO SAY I HAVE BEEN STALLED AT -120 POUNDS SINCE JULY. THIS STRESS IS NOT HELPING ME AT ALL!!! BUT ATLEAST I AM NOT GAINING!!!
ALSO I AM STILL WAITING ON THE LAWSUIT ON THE NEIGHBORS DOG KILLING MINE BACK IN MARCH. HAD THE TENDON REATTACHED ON MY FINGER ABOUT 8 WEEKS AGO AND AM WAITING FOR THAT TO HEAL UP. HAVE TO SEE THE DR ON THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING TO SEE IF I NEED MORE SURGERY ON IT OR JUST THERAPY AGAIN. ITS BEEN A DIFFICULT YEAR FOR ME THATS FOR SURE!!!!

LOL.... Ummm.... Embarrassed to admit it, but I FORGOT my re-birthday!! Seriously!! I remembered it about a week beforehand and mentioned it to my hubby. Then, I remembered it 2 days after!!
Oh well....

I think it is scary. I haven't had any dreams like that. At least none I recall. I don't remember dreams very often. Glad it was only a dream and not reality!

I spent the day in Labor and Delivery with my dil as she was havnig some problems. Gee- that was fun!

I started out as a 16-18 & XL. I am now a size 4-6. Most days I can't believe it. However, I keep having to tell my self that regardless of my size I want to be and remain healthy.

I'm taking 1/2 day off work. I actually managed to schedule my one year followup with my surgeon for just after work...unless he becomes a dad that day, which he might. This will be on Oct 31. I'm a practicing Pagan and this is an important spiritual holiday for me. I plan to acknowledge my new life on that spiritual level that evening. Next morning, I'm heading to Cape May for two nights, just to relax and be by the ocean.
