Hey Holly,
Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I just took a look at the new pictures and they're great. You look fantastic and the "Princess" is a little cuttie. It also looks as if there's going to be one more added to your family soon, fantastic.
Haven't been on board much lately, like everyone else it seems. I'm so tired when I get home from work lately that I just take a shower, sit and watch a little tv then get into bed so the craziness at work can start all over again. We've been more busy than usual, not only sick babies but sick new mom's also. The Friday before Christmas we had to do an emergency c-section because a first time 19yo mom to be had a grand mal seizure. Thankfully, both mother and baby survived and are doing fine. That can't be said for another mom who came in on the same day, she delivered a 33.5wk beautiful boy, unfortunetly he was still born and there was nothing we could do to revive him. So, can you say a stressful week? Who know's what the new year will bring. Sorry to dump this here. We never realize how it bother's us till we start talking about it then it all comes poring out.
So, hope you have a wonderful, healthly, happy and productive new year.
Keep in touch, please.
Donna, sfy

OH......and the "shaking things up" doesn't seem to work either.
I walked and walked and walked and even worked out while on vacation.....weight stayed the same.
I guess my body is just happy being obese.

HI Judy!
I am right there with you. It has been over 20 weeks since I have lost anything. I bounce up and down the same 2-3 pounds. A had RNY, not the band though.
I exercise regularly and relatively strenuously, get in 100 oz of water per day and around 100+ g of protein including 2-3 protein shakes.
I do everything as instructed and can understand your frustration completely. I am at a complete loss as to what to do and am just happy that I am not gaining.
The only thing that really helps is when I realize how much better I feel, and how far I really have come. I have lost a total of 90 pounds since my highest and 60 since surgery, which I could not have done on my own. I have lost 72% of my excess weight, which qualifies the surgery as a success. It IS hard to see everyone else posting about how much better things have worked out for them, but we will have to continue to look at the bright side.
Hopefully, the new year will bring us better luck and the losing will begin again.
Just wanted you to know that you are NOT alone.
