Water---no problem. Protein----no problem. Exercise-----HUGE problem. Not that I don't exercise at all......just not nearly as much as I should. I am WAY more active that I was able to be before, but I just can't seem to carve out the time to exercise properly. I thought I had it licked when I got a stationary bike that I could ride in front of the TV. I hardly EVER get to watch TV, so it was a treat to bike and watch for 1/2 and hour to 45 minutes. Then, summer came!!!! Now, I don't seem to be home between band practices, softball games, and where ever else I need to take the kids or meet the hubby. By the time I get home, it is bed time. Thank you Tara for this thread----confession IS good for the soul. I wish I had some tips for getting all the water in for you. Crystal Light, citrus squeezed in, and just make sure to keep it near you at all times. I always had a bottle near me, even "before", so I do not have any problem with getting it in, but if I were you, I would be afraid of dehydration. (Actually, I AM afraid of dehydration......) Please have a lovey evening all, Dawn

I haven't dedicated as much time as I'd like to our boards lately, but I did notice that I haven't seen Felicia around in a long time!!

Congradulations..... I see your thinking just like me about your own goal of 180. My Dr wants me down to 200. I'm 37 pounds away. I started at 419. So with the extra 20 that I want to lose I need 57 lbs to go. I went for a plastic surgery consult and they said I have about 28 lbs excess skin on my middle section. So that puts me much closer to my goal. I might need to do the goal my Dr has fset for me, because I'm to tall to weigh 150 and look healthy.

Water is easy for me to drink. I'm drinking about 12 to 16 cups a day. My problem is Popcorn. I love it at night as a snack. I know it has no protein, but I just can't give it up. I still don't touch sugar or carbs. So I figour that I can endulge in it. I just try to eat 100 calories of it. Well sometimes I go over if I'm going to be truthful..... By the way the water is easier for me to drink if I add Crystal Light to it. Maybe this will help your intake of the water. Good Luck!!!!

OK I know it is the time when we have our weight loss slowing down. Let's all do some confessing. It may help us work on that area a little more. My biggest problem is water (fluids) I have never been able to drink all the water I am supposed to! I am in awe of all you ladies who can actually get the water in. When I drink an entire bottle in one sitting I actually feel like I am drowning. I feel the water creeping back up my throat. I can't explain how weird this feels. So I am a sipper. Then I seem to forget about it and don't fini**** By the end of the day I realize that I am lucky if I have had only 2 bottles of water. So I need to Drink more! I will drink 3 bottles of water (or that amount of fluids) today!! I will work up from there. Next..... Love Tara

Way yo go Tabby, taking that first step is so nerve racking. I haven't done it yet and I am so scared! The government, in Canada, is our insurance provider and they can be so strict. They will only pay for a panni (not tummy tuck) and a breast reduction. I had a WLS friend who was told that she didn't have enough breast tissue left for a reduction so if she wanted anything done to the girls she would have to pay. I am now a 34 (actually 33) G! Yep that is not a typo, now try and fit those puppies in a BRA, lol. I hope that means I qualify! I will keep my fingers crossed that the plastics appoinment and the EMG both go well for you. Take care Tara

I say stay away from the pills too! I would really check every morsel of food put in your mouth. Be honest, as I know how easily I don't count a bite here or there. Fitday is a great tracking site but I am sure there are others. You may actually need to up your intake a little to rekindle the fire. Sounds weird, I know but that is what the NUT instructed me to do and for some reason I have lost 10 pounds since June 21st. I was at a crawl with my weight loss and it was so frustrating. If you see a NUT regularly, then take a weeks worth of tracking to them and they will be able to direct you in the right direction. Good Luck, I know how frustrating this can be. Tara
