Hi Holly, do you think you will be able to print close-up pics of the scars and the drains so that we who still have to go through the PS get an idea of what to expect? we are having an awful heatwave for the past few days, 90-odd degrees in the day, 70-odd degrees at night. thanks Zah

Hi, Donna. My MIL is the charge nurse on the post-partum unit at one of our local hospitals. She coordinates the March of Dimes Walk for her hospital. Last year I started walking with her. Before that I just sent my kids and stayed at home and enjoyed the time alone. Now that I have lost 130 pounds I, too, will walk. Supporting the March of Dimes is a great cause. Good luck. Tabby

Dear October Sisters, As you all know, I'm involved with both full term and premature babies on a daily basis in the work I do, caring for the very healthy to the very sick babies. I'm very passionate in what I do and I'm always trying to learn new ways we as healthcare workers can enhance the lives of every baby we come into contact with. So on the behalf of every baby, I'm not above begging, because every year more than half a million babies are born to soon and 120,000 are born with birth defects. So I'm reaching out to each and every one of my October sisters, their friends and families to assist in the March of Dimes quest that "One day, every baby will be born healthy". Please donate to either your local chapter of March of Dimes or I will gladly take your donations. If you would like to donate to my quest please make out checks to "The March of Dimes". Every dollar goes into research, family assistance when babies are in the NICU, equipment in the NICU and normal newborn nurseries, education, etc . . . . So please reach into your pockets and HELP. DONNA M. TRAUB 3 CLEEK COURT CAROLINA SHORES, NORTH CAROLINA 28467 I be walking for all babies, healthy, sick, premature, babies who have died to soon, and your babies. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND LETTING ME RUN MY FINGERS DONNA, SFY

Wow this sure is a quiet board. Howdy Holly, I'm glad to hear you are recovering and coming along! If the weather out in your end of the state is anything like it is here in the Philly burbs it really has improved. I'm doing well and enjoying a very busy life. In the past month we have moved and I quit my job. It's a lot of change all at once, but that seems to be what my life is all about. I'm busy working on the house and trying to find another job. But shhhhh...don't tell my husband but I sort of like the stay at home wife life.

Good morning!! Hope this finds all of you doing well!!! The snow has finally stopped in NW PA....at least for now! It is supposed to be in the mid 40's over the weekend....we are going to think we are having a heat wave, but trust me, I would welcome a heat wave right now! LOL.... I am doing well. Still a little tired and anxious for my energy to return, but my PS promises that it will, it will just take some time. I had my three week check up on Monday and he said everything is healing nicely and he is pleased with the results and so am I! I am thrilled to be back to work and have even gone to Curves a few times with a friend of mine, I haven't done the machines, jsut walked on the resting pads -- I figure I will try to do a few of the machines next week, I will know right away which machines I can't do right now! I miss you all, but am thrilled that you are out living your lives to the fullest!!!!! I think of you often! Hugs, Holly
