Lovely pics, Holly! you look GREAT! about the in laws at the wedding ... dont worry, plenty more of that in the future, just get used to it next time they complain about not being involved, you can tell them it is not to late to pay half. then you will see how quickly they skedaddle to the shadows, hehe.

latest: 106kg / 233 lbs last week Monday: 107 / 236 lbs the 106kg reading was Thursday past at the gym. i still dont own a scale at home. i seem to be dropping hip sizes all of a sudden. clothes that i bought two weeks which i thought would fit me in a month or two already fits this weekend. i only have 14 more kg's to go before i loose 70% of my excess fat. i read on the net somewhere that one looses on average 70% with an RnY so i am quite delighted with the progress.

Well done, Evelyn! What an emotional experience...all the victories seem a bit bittersweet to me, as I recall the pain that was my every day life for so long...until a relatively short time ago, really...but such joy! Nice job Lisa

I had an exciting moment this morning when I plugged in my new weight and realized that I am now in the "normal" weight range. Normal! From morbidly obese to ...... normal! I alternated between joy and tears. Joy, because I felt like a failure for YEARS while I tried to get here without success - despite my best efforts. Tears, because this surgery finally gave me the tool I needed to lose weight and be......normal. What an exciting 10 months we have had!
