You don't say how tall you are but with your bra size I'm thinking we're the same.. I'm 5'3" and at 200+/- now so here's what I've found... The bra thing is challenging (especially since I was always small and didn't even have to wear a bra for many years). Recheck yourself for the bra sizing. A 50B sounds way too big around. I'm now wearing 40B. It feels a tad snug sometimes but stays in place (which keeps my breasts in place). Do you have a SteinMart up there? I went there and found these wonderful Bali soft cotton bras that are good side coverage and keeps everything up without underwires. They're normally around $30 but at Steinmart I got them for $17. I bought 3 and wear them constantly. If you truly are still at the 46-50 around size send me your address in a private email and I'll mail you a box of bras if you'd like. I'm clearing out all my larger ones and some haven't even been worn because I bypassed them before I needed them (not necessarily a bad thing The rest of the bod... I bought one high-to-thigh Spanx for when I really need it for something more fitted for my upper stomach area. Target sells a less expensive brand made by the same woman which works fairly well also. In dresses though I am wearing a pantyhose called Shapers by Just My Size. The only place I've found them is at CVS Pharmacy. At $4.99 they are much less expensive than Spanx hose and last just as long. They do great! Comfortable, front panel, lacy thigh smoother and a nice silky finish so dresses flow well. Also, go try on some jeans, etc in smaller sizes. You may be surprised. Sometimes our heads need some time to catch up with what our bodies are actually doing. hugs... Pat

Hello everyone! it's very quiet here at work today!! I am looking forward to along weekend! I wish we could be spending it with our Princess Raven, but we'll survive! My son was served with a PFA last night which automatically gave my d-i-l temporary custody. My son actually broke down and cried last night -- it was horrible! They have a hearing on Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. and he has an appt. with his attorney on Tuesday at 9 am. Tomorrow, I promised my daughter and her friend that we would go to Millcreek Mall in Erie shopping for school clothes. Other than that, we don't really have much planned. I need to get my son's stuff that my d-i-l dropped off on my sidewalk put away -- somewhere! Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Holly

My d-i-l slapped a PFA on my son last night, she is claiming that he slapped her and grabbed her ankle (he did grab her ankle to stop her from kicking him) and she said that he kicked Raven. He wore steel toed boots to work, so if he had kicked RAven, he would have without a doubt left a mark on her. Anyway, she stated that she left the house because she was afraid of him - but she left Raven with him. Because she filed the PFA against him, she automatically got temporary custody of her. My son broke down and cried last night -- it was awful! They have a hearing on September 5 at 8:30 in the morning. He has an appt. with his attorney on Tuesday morning at 9 am. What a mess!!!! He is at the courthouse right now seeing if he can file a PFA against her....to at least stop her from harassing my husband and I.....Thank you ALL for listening and keeping my family in your thoughts and prayers! Hugs, Holly

I thought I would pop in for roll call today. I am enjoying a nice day home catching up. You know the laundry and the dreaded house work. Tomorrow at 7:30 we have the first game of my son's all weekend long soccer tournament. Then in the middle of that he has a hockey checking clinic. Family will be popping in and we have to get organized for school. The typical end of summer rush. I must say I am really looking forward to school starting agin. We all do much better, around here, with a schedule. Have a great weekend. Tara

Topic: RE: Do you "diet"?
Way to go with this topic Felicia, this really has people thinking and writing here. I don't diet at all! I will never do it again. I realized last September that my dream was coming true. I was going to get in control over myself and my emotions. I eat anything I want but in moderation, big time. I don't eat any portion that has over 6-8 grams of refined sugar per serving. It is not will power. I am a huge chicken. I fear the dreaded dumping. I eat natual fruits and veggies. I don't worry about carbs. I eat normal (probably smaller) portions. Sometimes I find the fruit a little too sweet for me. I never dreamed I would say that! hehe I don't eat bread or rolls. I ate a 1/4 of a bun once and the thing exploded in my pouch and I was so sick. I will never eat that again. I can eat about 1/2 a peice of toast or 1/4 of a toasted bagel. I don't eat things that are too fatty either, again another episode that we don't need to hear about. I plan on doing this for the rest of my life. I pray that I can do this for the rest of my life. My family is eating healthier too. Thanks for making us think. These kind of messages help to keep us on track. Tara

My signature line on the "updated" format says it all... I can eat anything I want...I just don't want much.

Thank you so much!! I am so excited.. I am walking around with a skip in my step and a stupid grin on my face. Joshua thinks I have lost my mind. "Mom, Your nuts" LMaoooooo and he is right. I know its silly I just had a lot of things set on for this date. Mental things. Anyways Burn The Point is a Parade and Car show for classic cars... http://www.burnthepoint.com/ We ( or I should say Dale ) usually only does the Friday Night Parade as the car show is usually a cluster fling but I don't know what he is doing this year about the car show. I love to look at them but ugg they are very boring to participate in. Will be more fun when I have my OWN car finished lol to show. This is our car http://www.djfsmith.com/f/wp-content/display/dale/_lrg-875-11.jpg We used to do tons of Rod Runs and Car Shows ( even used to drag race cars if you can believe it lol) but it slowly fell to the way side in the last 7 years or so. But NO MORE! Its my fault it faded away and next year we are back into it! *HUGGLES* Felicia =0)
