Sounds good. I will bring the scrapbook that I made of my weightloss. I need to update it with current pics. I have been bad at that lately.
Hopefully some others can meet up with us, too. That would be so cool.
See you soon,
Tabby
Topic: TRIP TO THE BEACH?
HEY OCTOBER SISTERS,
HOPE EVERY ONE HAD A SAFE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. WE, COASTAL NORTH/SOUTH CAROLINA JUST FINISHED A THREE WEEK BIKE FEST, FIRST IT WAS HARLEY FEST THEN IT WAS THE SPORT BIKE FEST. WE SURVIVED, BARELY.
CAN YOU SAY CONGESTED ROADS? IF ANY ONE HAS BEEN TO MYRTLE BEACH THEN YOU KNOW THAT THERE AREN'T TO MANY MAIN ROADS (2 TO BE EXACT) SO WHAT WOULD NORMALLY TAKE 20 - 25 MINS TOOK UP TO 1.5hrs TO GET SOME WERE. THANK GOD THAT'S OVER.
SO, THE ACTUAL PURPOSE OF THIS POST IS TO SUGGEST THIS, AS YOU KNOW I LIVE AS STATED ABOVE, IN COASTAL SOUTHEASTERN NORTH CAROLINA. ABOUT 30 -35 mins FROM MYRTLE BEACH, SC. TABBY HAS MENTIONED THAT SHE, HER FAMILY AND ANOTHER FAMILY WILL BE COMMING DOWN TO THE BEACH FROM JULY 12th THRU THE 19th AND WE'RE HOPEFULLY PLANING ON GETTING TOGETHER. SO, WOULD ANYONE ELSE LIKE TO MAKE PLANS AND JOIN US? ALL ARE WELCOME.
I KNOW IT'S A LITTLE BIT OF A SHORT NOTICE BUT ALOT OF YOU LIVE ON THE EAST COAST, NOT TO MANY HOURS AWAY. PRICES ARE RESONABLE AROUND HERE W/ THE EXCEPTION OF GAS, LIKE EVERY WERE ELSE. SO, HOW ABOUT MAKING PLANS AND JOIN US. IT GETS REALLY HOT AND HUMID BUT THE BEACHS ARE GREAT, EVERY HOTEL/MOTEL HAS A POOL AND ALL THE STORES AND RESTURANTS ARE AIR CONDITIONED.
SO LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU ALL THINK.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF WE COULD ALL GET TO MEET AND SEE EACH OTHER IN PERSON FOR A CHANGE. IF YOU COME BRING SOME BEFORE PICTURES W/ YOU.
HAVE A GREAT SUMMER,
DONNA, SFY

Hey pat,
just came on board. Haven't been on lately, the computer is on the fritz again, so what else is new.
Congratulations on your recent marriage, you looked absolutely beautiful in you gown and oh so happy.
The trike looks great. What part of July are you planning on going to south carolina? And what part of s.C. ? It'd be great if it was myrtle beach, I live in calabash, n.C., 30 minutes from myrtle and we could meet up.
To bad you and jimmy didn't come up this past week. We just finished with harley week. Had thousands of bikers and their rides in town, great time was had by all. Gets a little crazy on the roads, but that's half the fun.
Now we have another bike festcomming up on memorial week end, this is "atlantic beach bike fest". It's based in a two mile radius and it consists of mostly african americans on those rice burners. So unlike harely week which is spread out over many miles, the two mile radius in atlantic beach is extremely hazardous.
Again, congratulations on your marriage and keep up the great work

Hi to all... Haven't been on the board in ages but life is good.
Catching up on the 18 month questions. I am also still working on the last 30 lbs. I've lost 120+/- to date and feel terrific (which might be part of the problem with the motivation to lose the rest).
I laughed at the post about shoe size going down because that happened to me also.. totally wild.
I've posted some new pictures... Jimmy and I got married this April. He was with me before the surgery and has been my best support since it so we decided to do the committment thing.
The best part..what a blast--dancing the evening away -- no shortness of breath, no achy legs, nada!! And our wedding gift to ourselves was to trike our motorcycle and we're taking a week trip to SC in July. Something I'd never have done at 300 lbs.
Nothing is perfect but this has been pretty close for me. Hope you are feeling the same...
Hugs... Pat
Topic: RE: Is Anyone Still Trying To Lose?
I am having the same issue. I have not lost much weight at all and I feel so stupid. I went through so much during my surgery and now I look in the mirror and see the same person. How can I change this? Should I look into a possible revision surgery? what are my options. I am so embarassed to say that I have only lost around 60lbs.
Please offer me so help.

Hey holly,
great to hear from you and thrilled you're doing so good. You look great in your pictures.
You are oh so right, two years ago we would have all been sitting here at the computer or in front of the tv. Which, in fact, I'm doing right now as I'm not feeling so great. My sister and I took off this past week to do some work around the house. Well, since last Friday my asthma has been kicking up, so much that it's been waking me up in the mornings, short of breath, wheezing, fluid filled lungs, you get the picture. Can't figure out what's triggering it. Making me nuts.
Hope you have a great summer and keep up the great work and keep in touch.
Donna, sfy

Hey, Holly!!! Great pics. Lookin' Good!!!! How are you feeling? It gets better and better, doesn't it? I keep wanting to get my pics taken and then I forget to get my camera out. One of these days I'll update mine. Not much of a change since I last posted pics.
How is Raven doing? How's your son? What else is new? It's fun to be able to do all the fun things we are now able to do, isn't it? I have fun jumping on the trampoline with the kids and I like to swing on them. My butt fits on the swing and the sides of it don't dig into my hips. My next thing I want to do is buy a bike to go riding. I'd like to do it as a family, but think that it might also be a nice relaxing way to exercise by myself while the kids are still at daycare. Don't know how to get that one by hubby since I have a $500 treadmill that is not being used. LOL.
Hugs sweetie,
Tabby
