Consider yourself lucky that you made it that long. My FIVE YR OLD won't let me take him in the bathroom very often anymore. I hate it. I am a nervous wreck when he goes in by himself. Luckily he is like the fastest pee'er of all times, so I don't have to suffer long. I still like to go in the handicap stall with him and my daughter so I can see both of them. If this is not possible and I have to go to the bathroom, I make him go in the stall beside me and when he is done he has to stand with his toes under my door so I know he is OK. Can't cut those strings yet. I know how you are feeling. WHAAAAAAA!!!! Hugs, Tabby

Topic: RE: Hi
Aw, Holly. Sorry to hear that Raven had to go back to Jen. That sucks. I know it is going to be tough. Hang in there sweetie. I am looking forward to the cooler weather this weekend. We have soccer pics tomorrow morning, then are taking the kids for Antique Pics in the afternoon. No plans after that. Then Sunday is a Soccer game (atleast it won't be 90 degrees in the blazing sun) and then we will come home to watch the rest of the Steelers game. GO STILLERS!!! Yoenz gonna watch em Stillers? LOL!!! Gotta love that Pittsburghese. LOL. Guess what!!! I can put a smile on your face. Guess when my One Year Checkup is??? Yep, you guessed it. October 18th at 11:30am. Can you believe it!! We will get to kill time together in the waiting room and then can go to lunch after our appointments. (won't want to eat before, so the scale is as low as possible) I am also wanting to try to find the Trader Joe's in Pittsburgh while I am in there. I've never been to one, but read about it all the time on here. I saw they have some protein bars called Think Thin. I want to give them a try, but don't want to order a box of them online and not like them. Anyways...hope you have a nice weekend and get out and enjoy the weather. I'm looking forward to meeting you next month. Hugs, Tabby

Topic: RE: Goals...
I am a super lazy person at heart lol so if I don't set goals, milestones, "reason" whatever one wants to call them to get to a certain point I will get myself off track. I weigh every day. Not because "I have to know the number" but because if I skip it I tend to get lazy in my focus. I like setting goals. Its fun to reach them no matter when they get reached. I am like you also... I may not meet them every time but thats not the point of the goals for me. Its setting a point to reach for in the first place. I also like to keep track of milestones. Hard to know where we are going if we aren't sure where we have been and why we were there. Great reminder for me to never get back into the habits I had before. I track everything ( as you all know lolol ) but I LOVE sitting and reading where I have been. Its inspiring. Glad you liked it! *huggles* Felicia =0)

"Mom I don't need you to go with me I can do it alone. I am 7 now ya know." I smiled and said "Of course you can, don't forget to wash your hands". And watched him walk into the mens bathroom, alone... My heart hurt. What if he forgot to shut the stall door? What if he shut the stall door and couldn't unlock it? What if??? But *sigh* in all reality he would be ( and was ) fine. He doesn't need me to go with him anymore. Not that he has needed my help to "do his business" in many years but still a public bathroom "shivers". Its just scary for dear 'ole Mom. He is NEVER out of my sight when we go places and I can't tell you the fear that I felt when I watched him walk in and turn the corner. Thankfully no one else went in while he was there lol. Would hate to have to walk into the mens bathroom ya know, and beat some one up *giggle* . So I guess it has finally happened. The "hand holding days" are quickly coming to an end, and the "Im a big boy now" moments are taking over... *sigh* Its a strange combination of fear, sadness and pride lol. Thanks for "listening". *huggles* Felicia =*0(

Topic: RE: Goals...
I believe it is my mini-goals that have gotten me to where I am. Dave hasn't set any goals and has lost some momentum. He had his 6 month checkup yesterday and was down 77 lbs. That is great, but I don't think he has lost anything in the past month or two. I was determined to loss 100 pounds by my 6 month checkup...and I DID!!! He didn't even set a final goal. The surgeon did tell him yesterday that he needs to lose another 25-30 pounds, so atleast he has a goal in mind. The whole time I have said "by my 6 mos I want to lose this" "by Memorial Day I want to weigh this". I may not have met every goal, but darn it I was close and have done pretty well. I totally believe that goals are good for your success. You have done an amazing job with all of your goals. Thanks for sharing. hugs, Tabby
