Karen, I'm 46 and have gone from 300 to 165 so far. PLENTY of extra skin. When the time comes, I'll go for as much as I can afford to have done. You're young and have the whole rest of your life to live. If this will make you happy, GO FOR IT! Lisa

Hi everyone. One year ago today I weighed 242. Today: 154. I met with a plastic surgeon, Dr. J Timothy Katzen thru obesityhelp's seminar in LA a few weeks ago. He wants to do a circumferential body lift, thigh lift, and 3-weeks after that a breast lift. I am almost 63 so probably have more lose skin than most of you. Should I or shouldn't I - that is the question! Besides the expense, he said up to 10 hrs of surgery -OMG I am nervous about that and much more than the GBS. Any thoughts you all have would be helpful. My hubby says just do it. My sister thinks I am nuts. Although I am an 8 to 10 pants my clothes don't fit like I want them t. Anyone else thinking of plastic surgery?

Count Me In! For some reason with all the journaling I do I could never write down about surgery day ( seems strange *shrug* lol ) but this will give me a great reason to "get it down" on paper so to speak lol.
