Oh Felicia!
I SOOOOO know how you are feeling. Of course, my son is 14 now and it has been quite some time, but I remember when he did the same thing to me. Each time I had to stand outside the door and wait, I was almost frantic.
Once, in Wal-Mart, he went into the men's room and did not come out, and did not come out, and did not come out.........I was FREAKING OUT!!!! Finally, I asked a nice (safe) looking male employee to go in and ask David if he was OK. David said he was, and the employee came out and told me.
And I waited......and I waited.....and I waited......
After I could take it no more, I opened the door and yelled to him to see if he was OK. He said that he was, but needed some help............wiping!!!!!!!!
The poor kid had been sitting there all that time needing help wiping!!!!!
I hollered in an "all clear" and grabbed Olivia and went in to help him.
Just one of those memorable mother-son moments!
Hope you feel better now!

Topic: WOW moment...
Good morning!
After the last couple of weeks, I have needed a WOW moment!! Before my surgery, I broke my wedding band -- so for the last several years I have not worn a ring at all. In April, I told my hubby that for my birthday (Oct. 1) and my surgery anniversary (Oct 10) I wanted a new ring. I said I wanted to wait because I knew that by then I would be close to my goal weight. Well, Saturday night we went looking at rings and I found one! The WOW moment is I wear a size 7 1/2 ring! I haven't worn a 7 1/2 since High School 21 years ago! At surgery time last year I was wearing a size 11!!
Topic: The last day of the ?Fat? me!!
This is my journal entry 1 year ago today. Its amazing to not only read what I wrote last year but to know I actually accomplished what I was dreaming at that time. Half my size IS gone. Our lives HAVE changed for ALL of us. Food is no longer a FRIEND but FUEL.

The last day of the "Fat" me!!
I can't believe it. Today is the last day I will ever be this fat EVER again. Tomorrow I start my 2 weeks liquid diet. From that point on I will be a LOSER!!!!!!!!! I am a bundle of emotions this morning. From totally excited that I am finally on my way to very sad and morning the loss of a good friend ( large quantities of food). Its amazing how much food has become a part of my life. Its in EVERY part of my life right now. We would celebrate with food. We would be sad with food. We would be bored with food. We would be every emotion on the planet and there would be our good friend food. But not anymore. No more using it to entertain or comfort us. From now on its just energy to move us from one new activity to another. Starting tomorrow we are all changing our food ways. Dale, Joshua and I. Its so very exciting. Just think. Next year this time I will very possible be half the person I am today. I just cant wait!
My last foods will be as follows:
White Chocolate Torte Cake
Honey BBQ Nuggets from Walmart Deli ( to die for! )
Italian Salad ( Mozzarella cheese, roma tomatoes, salami, basil)
Root Beer
So to my good friend food I say. Thank you. You were there when I needed comfort. You were there when I was happy and when I was sad. Than you for always being there. But most of all thank you for understanding that I don't need you the same way anymore. Good by dear friend!
Me 1 year ago at 378lbs and Me today at 211lbs
