I would NEVER be able to excercise in the morning....I stay in that cozy bed until the very last possible moment every day. Talk about motivation..ha...last night I went to the class, stood in the back and watched these super fit and toned ladies filter in...the instructor walked out...looking like one of the trainers on Biggest Loser..with her headset on, the music cranked and they all started jumping and kicking and punching and....um...I walked right out! HA! That was too intense for me... I hightailed it over to the fitness center and all the treadmills where unplugged (they were installing new equipment). My only option for the night was this thing called a tread climber...sort of like a combo eliptical, stair climber, and treadmill all-in-one... I managed to get myself up to my 4 to 4.5 mph pace on it - but it was hard to do without losing my balance and falling off. I did 30 min. on that blasted thing and beat if out of there fast. I guess I need to find another "fun" class to keep me motivated.

Good morning!!! I am working as well today. It's awfully slow here, though!! My boss has decided he wants me to become a residential electrical inspector -- so, I am trying to read the book -- TALK ABOUT BORING!!! I'm reading, but I don't understand a thing I am reading!!!!!! Nothing exciting tonight....it's been beautiful during the day and really cooling off in the evening, which makes sleeping so much easier!!! Our next door neighbor is tearing down his house -- they had a huge bees nest -- well, guess what? The bees have built a nest around one of my bedroom windows!! We couldn't figure out where all the bees were coming from!! We kill anywhere from 12-15 bees a day! Last night my hubby was looking around and found the nest, so tonight he is going to take some bee/hornet spray and try to kill it....That should be interesting!!! We don't really have anything planned for the weekend. We get our Princess Raven on Monday evening at 5 pm.... Have a wonderful day!! Holly

Topic: RE: What Are You Eating????
Molly, what a great question! I've often wondered the same thing. I am certainly eating MUCH more that I was - but I'm still loosing so I'm not overly concerned about it - but it sure would be nice to know I'm "normal" so to speak compared to other Octoberites.... On a typical day.... Breakfast: either 1 piece of "carb style" multigrain toast w/ low fat peanut butter and sf rasberry preserves, or 3/4 cup of Fiber One with skim milk or sugar free carnation instant breakfast. On Saturdays we sometimes go out for breakfast..if we do I'll have one egg and order a side of ham and nibble on that as well. Snack: cheese, or some portion controled "salty snack" usually around 10am...I'm bad about this. I sooo crave the carbs and salt mid-morning. Lunch: typically a frozen "lean cuisine" type meal - I try to stick with ones that contain more protein in the entree and little or no rice or potatoes (some have just meat and veggies - I usually opt for those). Sometime for a change I will have 1/2 cup of tuna salad and some raw veggies or a side green salad. If I am having a hard time fighing the "pizza" craving (one of my weaknesses) I will have a green salad and 1/2 of a frozen lean cuisine pizza. (usually about once a month). Snack: Either some sugar free pudding with a teaspoon of low fat peanutbutter mixed in, or a 100 calorie bag of fat free microwave pop-corn. Dinner: I can usually eat about a cup now of whatever I have made for my husband. I have found that I am cooking more normal foods now. This past week we have been eating a recipie I saw on the Rachael Ray show...Buffalo Chicken Pot Pie....it has a cornbread (with blue cheese) mixed in topping. I 1/2ed the topping recipie (to make it thinner) and still pick it off and eat just the filling. We finished that last night - so tonight I will be cooking again - ground turkey, blackbeans and veggies..with an enchilada type sauce over a mix of brown rice and bulgar wheat. We usually eat late (around 7pm or so...if not later if I'm at the gym) - so..no evening snack!

Thanks for the support The Toradol is helping - good stuff - targets the pain, but doesn't knock me out! I have an ultrasound scheduled for Thursday morning and my doc set me up with a new gyn, who is seeing me Monday afternoon. Hoping all this will be over by next week! Lisa

Hi ya!! Busy with school work and stuff today. We went to Joshua's 1st Dentist appointment today and the verdict was "They are perfect". LOVE the sound of that lolol. He had a blast and I was just glad it was over. We are about half way though our school work today. Going to be a short work day as we were gone most of the morning in town. Also got busy on my Oct Cards. Lots of people seemed to have joined in so should be a very fun month. Hard to believe we are almost a full year out. Crazy how fast its gone. Welp gotta get to getting. Have a super rest of the day!! *huggles* Felicia =0)
