Finally posted some Post-op pictures.
I finally broke down and went shopping yesterday for something to wear to my mom's Christmas Party this coming Saturday. I didn't want to shop until after my drain was gone and I could get into my compression garment, but I was running out of time. Since I cannot drive when I am on Pain meds, I had hubby drive me yesterday since we didn't have anything else going on (sucks to rely on someone else to take you where you want to go). I ended up finding one pair of pants that would hide my drain pretty well...just in case he doesn't take it out tomorrow... and 3 tops that went with them nicely. I just need some dress shoes to complete the outfits. I put the pics up on my profile in the Plastic Surgery Album. Let me know which is your favorite. I think I am leaning towards to blue for my mom's party. I like the neckline on it. It is different. There is also a dress I got for next summer that I hoped to shrink in to, and it fits perfectly now.
I have before pics but am waiting for the drain to come out to take some after pics. I may get them up in the next week or two. I may have to put them on another site and link it to here. I have co-workers that check out my blog and I don't want them to see something like that.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks, Evelyn. I know that he is just chompin at the bit to get his hands on this new body. I told him the other day that we had to wait 6 weeks before to have sex and he reminded me that "You didn't look this good then." Both of those times were after I had babies and I was over 250 pounds. He still had a hard time waiting. I think it is going to be a while longer before I feel like fooling around. It's only been 5 weeks, but the drain, ace bandages and healing that is going on right now is NOT making me feel sexy...AT ALL!!! Throw in that I haven't had a shower since last Wednesday and hope to be able to get one tomorrow after my doctors appointment. No wonder I'm not feeling frisky.
I am leaning towards the blue one for my mom's party and one of the red one's for Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at our church. Maybe whatever one is left for New Years Eve.
Thank you, Annette. Dave liked them all. I LIKE THEM ALL!!! What a great day of shopping. And did I mention that I headed to the dressing room with an armfull of size Large tops and had to go back out and get Mediums. WHAT A GREAT DAY!!! I told everyone to get me Large's for Christmas. I called them all yesterday and told them to get me Mediums, or to give me Gift Receipts, just in case. Hee Hee. Who would have Thunk it over a year ago. NOT ME!!!!
Thank you, Miss Tiffany. Even with Hubby outside in the van while I was shopping, I had a good time shopping. Guess when clothes actually fit, it makes for a fun shopping experience. He had won $400 playing poker on Saturday Night and gave me $100 (he usually gives me a cut of his winnings if he wins big since I am sitting at home on Saturday nights watching our kids...that was the agreement for me to let him go play a couple of nights a month). My total at Fashion Bug was $97 and change. They were having a "BOGO" sale and I had a 10% off coupon thing and had another $10 coupon. I DID GOOD!!! I got 4 blouses, a sweatshirt, a sweater and two pair of pants for under $100. GO ME!!!
Love ya too, sweetie.
