Where is everyone?!
Hi, sweetie!!! I'm here. I have been really busy lately. I threw a Halloween party for about 20 kids at my house on Sunday and then worked that night. I was exhausted. I'm just glad to have it over with. Everyone had a blast and the kids looked so cute. Then my mom's cousin died all of a sudden on Friday, so we had to go to the funeral home last night. I had to go "shopping" in my MIL's closet yesterday because I don't have anything dressy to wear because I work from home and wear jammies and sweats when I work, so I have not needed anything dressy. I was trying to hold off on buying anything like that until AFTER my PS which is in less than 3 weeks. I found a couple of outfits to wear, but nothing I would have gotten for myself, but made do in a pinch.
Sorry to hear that your PS consult was cancelled yesterday. I know it had to be draining to get all psyched up about it and then have it cancelled. Sorry to hear about your g-ma, too. Hope she is doing better. My dad's mom is not doing well. Who knows how much longer she will hang in there. I really need to take the kids to see her, but have been SOOOO busy lately.
Tomorrow is Nate's Halloween party at pre-k and Meg's party at daycare. Then on Thursday some of my girlfriends and I are having a little baby shower for another friend that is due any day now. Friday I will be picking up Nate from school and cleaning and cooking for Saturday, which is an Usborne Children's Book Party at my house. Next week isn't as hectic, but I hope to get together with some girlfriends on Friday before my surgery and hopefully Dave will take me out for a date or something special because I won't be up for much for a while after the 12th. Man...my surgery will be here in no time. My surgery is the same day as your PS consult now. Hopefully we both have a good day.
Well, I'm off to get my shower and go take Meg to the doctor (I think she has roseola) and I want to get Nate and my flu shots (Meg is out since she is sick) and then Dave is picking up our new stove and fridge, so I have to empty out the fridge and freezer...busy day here...OH...on top of that, I have to fix up the treat bags for pre-K and daycare. URGH!!! Why am I online right now???? Hee Hee. Catch you later. Hope you have a great day!!!
Hugs,
Tabby
Hey holly,
I know what you mean, it's seems the further out we are from surgery the less we hear from everyone or it takes longer. I think that now that we all have so much weight off we're feeling more confidant and are more comfortable out in public so we're going out and doing more. Which I think is wonderful.

Can not say that I am one for keeping up lately. I am FINALLY starting to feel better..thank you second trimester!!!!...but I have noticed that it has way slowed down.
I have been reading some on the post op pregnancy board so I wonder if people have gravitated to more specialized boards. No telling; I hope everyone is just out having a great time and enjoying the beautiful changing of the fall colors.
Hiiii Holly! I am here... I just got back from a 4 day vacation in Vegas.. It was my BDay on Saturday so I went with my son and brothers family. Had a great time.. We saw a Magic show with Pam Anderson... It was super cool.. Went to the wax museum.. I was all matching myself with everyone.. I am the same size as Beyonce... lol. Are hips are the same size.. I was all woohhooo.. I got my picture taken with Prince.. My favorite.. I am bigger then him.. When I get the pictures from my sisters camera I will post them..
Things have been really great.. I havent lost anything in a while but thats ok. I went to my PS consult. I went to one on my own, not for Insurance to pay. His name is Dr. Katzen. Advertises on OH alot. does alot of seminars with OH. Any ways.. He said I need a lower body lift.. showed me what I would look like.. Said I have about 10 lbs of skin and left over fat on my tummy and butt.. He said with the body lift, He can raise my entire butt up with my thighs.. Then (not be gross) but I need a labia reduction.. So on the first surgery he would do my LBL and labia reduction ($20,000) then 2 weeks later go in and do my boobs and inner thigh lift ($20,000). I will have like a 2 inch scar on my inner thighs.. So.... $40,000..... I might have to do my tummy first, then the other stuff later.. My reg Doc wont even ref me to a PS. She said she doesnt think it is medically necessary.. I was really upset when she first said that, but I am over it. nothing I can do right?
Things are better with my son and work is going so good..
The future so bright I have to wear shades..
So anyway.. Thank you so much for asking about me.. Thinking about me.. Means alot to me..
I hope all is well with you!!
Love you october sisters!!!

I'm here.
Back in the full swing of the fall schedule. I've added a few more students this year, so that means lessons every evening (except Fridays and weekends)...1 -3 a night. I'm still trying to squeeze the gym in on top of that.
Had my first "climbing" lesson this past weekend (part of my one year surgiversary present), followed by a morning (ok, just two hours) of pampering at a local day spa. We have a wedding this weekend.
And, just when I thought I was seeing the end of a hectic life and a chance to slow down and relax a bit....we decided to put our condo on the market and start the process of finding our "forever home."
Our condo is so small, there is no way we could imagine living there if our family grows. We can't even fit a piano in the place, which is why I am running myself ragged driving all over two counties in the evenings teaching piano. With a bigger place we can find a piano and let the students come to me.
But it means making a hectic scramble to fix all those little things that have been on the "honey-do" list for the past 6 months, paint the bright red kitchen walls, clear out and store the clutter and extra furniture that is crammed in there etc.
Just what one wants to face when we're entering the holiday season.
On the WL front. Things are good. My mother-in-law actually said to me the other night that she thought I had lost enough weight and should probably consider "stopping." I laughed because I have slowed down so much, but...and medically I am still considered "overweight" I would love to loose another 20lbs or so. I did make my 1 year goal of 160 and a size 12!
I'm here, I'm here. LIfe is getting crazy busy! School for the kid has been busy and trying to help her get organized and keep her grades up. Then work is crazy, hubby's work is crazy, life is just so crazy. On top of all of that, we lost our dog almost 3 weeks ago now. Of course we missed her but missed just having a 4-legged friend in the house. So, we went out and got a new puppy, 8 weeks old, who doesn't sleep through the night.
So life has been crazy. I am still stuck at 214. I have 15 to lose to be in wonderland, and as of now, it looks like it's going to be a long time before I get there. I am not losing, but I am maintianing. I have to change up my routine a bit.
Hello to everyone out there. Feels like life is keeping us all so busy, we forget to check in
Molly
Hi everyone! I enjoyed reading the updates on your lives.
I've been busy too. My last child at home is a senior, so the year has been hectic and busy and wonderful. My work is overwhelming, but I'm learning to set limits and boundaries. I'm having some difficulties with a personal relationship, and that has been a worry as well.
Still, here we are one year later. I am down 110 pounds and within 6 pounds of goal. What a great year!
