I may need a pep talk?!
Ok, so for the first time in a year, I believe I am at a stall. As a matter of fact, I think I have gained 2 pounds and I am really bummed.....I haven't changed my eating habits at all....still getting in all my protein....drinking ALL of my water.....I see my surgeon this Thursday for my one year checkup and I am worried sick that I have gained 2 pounds!! What I have noticed though, is that clothes that didn't fit before are fitting a little better....go figure!!!!

Holly
Holly,
Relax. It's gonna happen. Remember that you are still losing inches. Don't be so hard on yourself. Look at all that you have lost so far. 2lbs is not a big deal until it becomes 4, then 6, etc.
I had my 1 year visit this Monday. I was happy that I had lost 104lbs, but only 92 on their scale. I still go by MY scale That is what matters to me. I still have a ways to go, but always need that help and encouragement. You will do fine. Keep up the great work, you can do it!
Molly
HOLLY...this is your first stall???? Let me be the first to congratulate you!!!! That you have come this far without a stall is AMAZING!!! Don't get upset about it. I have gained and lost the same 5 pounds so many times in the past 3 months, I can't count. If your clothes are fitting better, then you may be losing inches. It'll be OK. You are still doing everything right, so don't sweat it. You're doctor will be so proud of you. I'M PROUD OF YOU!!!
Can't wait to see you on Thursday. Atleast our time in the waiting room should fly.
Hugs,
Tabby
Thank you Tabby! I knew I could come to my October sisters for a pep talk!! I have been wanting to call you ALL week, but I just haven't had the time. I am looking so forward to tomorrow so we can actually meet in person!! I thought we could meet around 11 -- is there any place special you want to meet?? I was thinking maybe at the piano? Let me know!!

Holly
BEEN THERE! lol I am pretty sure we all have. For the last month I have been doing the "gain FIVE, lose 1" thing. OMG can we say stress!! But the fact is thats what happens. We are a year out. Eassssssssssssssy Streeeeeeeeeeeeeeet *sung in my best voice from the movie Annie" has taken a left turn to "CRAP" street. lol My best uneducated guess is that if your clothes are fitting better ( mine are doing the same thing, scale no move, pants fall off *shrug*) then you are still doing just great!! Talk to your Surgeon. I am betting "the honeymoon is over" talk will come lol. Stall doesn't mean over so no worries. Stick to plan. Keep at what you are keeping at and you will make it to where you want to be ok!!

Holly, I was at a stall for the last month also. Its your bodies natural inclination at this point in time (I think). So hey, the honeymoon may be over, but we still know what to do! Funny, how could I have dropped nearly 2 sizes, and still weigh the same? The weights got show off pretty soon. Hang in there, it will come honey!
