What will (or did) you do????

I'm a late in the month October Baby (Oct. 25th) so my one year has not yet arrived. It doesn't mean I haven't thought about what I will do to celebrate that day that changed my life forever. As of right now I have set aside that Saturday (October 27th)...I am scheduling a massage and pedicure at a spa. I've never had a professional massage before and can't think of a better way to treat myself. Got me to thinking..has anyone else done anything special?

Sounds so good. I might steal that idea. My re-birthday is October 19th. I would love to hear what the others were up to. Tara

Sadly, I didn't do anything special. My anniversary was on a Thursday which is the same night as my support group meeting. I just went to my group. I didn't need anything special, just the thought in my head that it was my 1 year was ok with me. Now my birthday is another story. That is in a few days, and we will be going out to dinner and possibly something else, but not sure yet. We'll figure that out in few days. Molly

I'm taking 1/2 day off work. I actually managed to schedule my one year followup with my surgeon for just after work...unless he becomes a dad that day, which he might. This will be on Oct 31. I'm a practicing Pagan and this is an important spiritual holiday for me. I plan to acknowledge my new life on that spiritual level that evening. Next morning, I'm heading to Cape May for two nights, just to relax and be by the ocean. Lisa

I spent the day in Labor and Delivery with my dil as she was havnig some problems. Gee- that was fun!

LOL.... Ummm.... Embarrassed to admit it, but I FORGOT my re-birthday!! Seriously!! I remembered it about a week beforehand and mentioned it to my hubby. Then, I remembered it 2 days after!! Oh well.... Hope you enjoy your day!! Susan

Hee Hee...I spent mine by sitting in a lawyers office closing on a refinance for your house to pay for my PS that is coming up in a month. After that, Dave and I went out to dinner since we had a sitter for the evening. I even took off work that night, but that was because Friday was my "Girl's Night" and I wanted to be rested for my friends. It was a nice day. I kept saying "A year ago, I couldn't even drink water...look at me now." I wish I had thought of the Massage idea. Perhaps I will keep it in mind and treat Dave to one on his Surgiversary in February. (that'll make me look more thoughtful than him...Hee Hee) Hugs, Tabby

Not really sure what I'm going to do, but I took the entire week off. I have my birthday, surgiversary, and anniversary all in the same week. Just glad to be happier and healthier than I was a year ago. Congratulations to everyone on their October surgiversaries!
