I know we all have posted on our anniversary so here I am today, one year later. What a year it has been. I just had a birthday on Wednesday and it was no way as exciting as today is. Just another year gone by age wise but a new life this past year. So for statistics for the year: Weight : 339#-163# That is 176 pounds gone Inches- I have lost 85 1/2 inches off of my body BMI- 62 down to 30 The numbers and statistics are amazing to me but they can not compare to the difference this surgery has made in my life. I knew that there would be physical changes(hopefully) but did not realize how much of a mental change there would be. I thought I was happy before, that I was not a real prisoner of my weight, but now I know how wrong that was. I am so free now and this is such a wonderful life. I could go on forever with all the changes this surgery has made in my life, but we all know those lists as we have all been there. But one of the greatest things this surgery has given me is the opportunity to meet all of you. What a wonderful support group you all are and thank you all so much for helping me through this past year. As a team we can do anything....Thanks to all and lots of love..........Gay
