And another! Are you eating rice and/or pasta? My nutritionist had said to avoid it the first year. I have had a couple bites of rice and it fills me fast. I;ve had a few rice cakes and they can leave me uncomfortable. I have not had any pasta yet. Lisa

I have had a few bites of pasta, but it fills me too quick. I avoid rice because of the fullness and I don't want that in me. I do eat rice cakes though lol, those are my "snacks" with a bit of melted cheese on top. Molly

Pasta doesn't agree with me at ALL!!! I get violently ill from it. Rice I have tried and haven't seem to have much of a problem with it. I choose not to eat it because it fills me up quickly and then I feel yucky. Allison

I haven't been eating either because Pasta makes me sick. Feels crappy in my pouch. I did, however purchase a box of Dreamfields Pasta from GNC on Friday and we had it for dinner tonight. I has only 5 digestable carbs and 7 grams of protein. It was SOOOOO YUMMY!!! Tasted just like real pasta, but didn't hurt my belly at all. It was a bit price, $2.69 a one pound box, but SOOO worth it. I used my GNC card and got 20% off. They have lasagna noodles, too. My friend that had WLS 4 years ago recommended it. Her family does Atkins and love it, too. Now, rice???? I have tried it here and there, and did fine. I just don't make it very often. Rice cakes are ok with me.

You are going to love it. I enjoyed my dinner SOOOOO much tonight. My friend said she gets hers at Kroger's (a grocery chain around her) and the price is about the same as what GNC was.

I eat whole wheat pasta, brown rice and rice a roni pretty regularly. They are never the entree, just a side dish and I rarely have more than a 1/3 cup of rice and a few bites of pasta. It's been nice to not get sick on things, however it makes me nervous about maintenance. I guess I'll just have to wait and see....

Are you eating rice and/or pasta? I can I just don't do it often. I have had pasta several times in the last couple months. About a 1/2 cup or so is about all I can eat of it. I just had rice on last Wednesday. WAS YUMO! Went down fine and didn't fill me up at all. Was probably 1/2 cup or less not sure as it was a side with my fish. *huggles* Felicia =0)
