"ethnic" restaurants...what do you eat?
Hmmmm..
Chinese - I can eat the crab rangoons. Those are filled with crab and ricotta cheese, if you get a good place, they are yummy.
Italian - pizza. I can eat a small slice. I try to get one with meats and/or veggies, but I usually don't eat the crust.
Indian - don't eat it, never tried it.
Mexican - something not to spicey. My pouch doesn't like hot spicy foods. I can eat tacos, enchilladas, quesadillas, but I try to stay away from the nachos/chips.

Hi Lisa..
Love your questions today...
Chinese: I have tried it. Doesnt sit well.. I can eat the chicken out of the Kung Pow (sp?) and that is ok..
Italian: I just get soup & Salad there (Like at Olive Garden).. Usually the soup is to spicy still. If pizza fits in here. Yes, I can have one piece and the topping off another.
Indian: havent had it since surgery. Not one of my favorites..
Mexican: We have this resturant here called Avlias. They have the BEST, BEST chicken soup with Avacados.. onions.. rice.. it is the *******ways get that. I can not have (soft) tortillas. Oh my... they make me soooooo sick.. Corn or flour.. OOhh, just thinking about it makes me feel bad.. I can eat chips though - I dont do it very often, but if we are out, I will have a few..
Want to try Sushi sooooo bad.. I am so scared though. It just seems like raw fish wouldnt digest very well. Maybe for my year, I will try some.
Don't eat ethnic very often. Dave doesn't like it. We did go out for Italian one night and I ordered Chicken Parm. It was great. I couldn't eat the pasta that came with it. I LOVE Mexican, but never go to any mexican resteraunts. I do like fajitas and quesadilla's.
I don't eat pizza very often. CARBS!!! DAMN CARBS!!! I make it for the kids and take a bite here and there. Cheese and Pepperoni, thank you very much.
Hugs,
Tabby
What do you eat at various ethnic restaurants? Well I have just started back to "eating out" so haven't hit to many but here is what I have done so far...
Chinese? Not yet but Mongolian Grill is on my list for October. But I have made a lot of Chinese and Thai foods at home does that count?
Italian? I have had pasta but not out at a restaurant. Italian is my least favorite food.
Indian? Never tired it. Don't think there is even a place here to eat it.
Mexican? Taco Johns LOL Hard Shell Tacos YUMO!
Do you eat pizza? Not often. Maybe once every couple of months.
How much? As long as I pick the pepperoni and sausage off I can eat a whole piece probably 2 ish inches wide at the crust edge...
What toppings? Everything but pepperoni and sausage... they don't like me...

I'm in love with Mexican foods now. I used to love Chinese, but they have so much broccoli and sweet stuff. Broccoli makes me dump big time. I can't find much to eat at one anymore. I know that Indian food is almost perfect for our dietary needs. Low fat, high protein, and already pureed. I have wanted to try some indian foods.
