WOOOWSER MOMENTS!!!
1. Today after our Homeschool kick off thing I took Joshua to lunch at Blimpies. Not only did we GO IN to eat we sat at a BOOTH!!! I didn't even have to squeeeze in or nothing. There was a good 6 inches between me and the table!!! Last time I ate out was when Joshua was just a couple months old. He was even still on Oxygen so I am guess 3 or so months old. He is going to be 7 in a week if that tells you how long ago it was that I not only ate at a restaurant but sat in a BOOTH to boot! I was so excited and proud of myself I had to take a picture of the booth LOL. Well Joshua sitting in the booth but you can still tell its a dang booth!
2. Second YIPPIE moment was that yesterday at the store I bought size 38 jeans ( mens wranglers, as I don't like how womens jeans fit ) but didn't have a change to try them on ( or wash them for that matter lol ) so I didn't wear them today. My 40's are falling off of me and I finally figured that since hubby and I are racing down the same sizes these days, I would spend the cash and buy a smaller size. (Incentive for him too *Grin*). Anyways I just got to try them on a little bit ago and not only did they fit but they were not even tight!!! In womens sizes a 38 = some where between 16/18 ( 17 actually but they dont make a womens 17 lol ). YAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE SOOO freaking exciting.
3. I also bought new shoes. Size 7. I probably could have gotten a 6 1/2 but the 7's were comfortable. I started out at my highest in a 10 1/2!! I did have a ****** moment on that though as I paid TWICE as much for Joshua's new shoes as my new ones. WHAT is up with the crazy cost of kids clothes and shoes????
4. I cant wear my new ring anymore. Its TOOOOOOO BIGGGGGG!!! Its an 8 and falls right off over my knuckle now ( down from an 10). Ahhh shucks I will just have to get a new one *grin* Size 7 here I come!!
5. I guy held the door open for me. lol Joshua and I popped over to have lunch with Dale and this young guy and I got to the door at the same time. NOW the last time I was there was 3 years ago and 200lbs ago. Since guys are in and out all the time I ended up at the door last time at the same time as some guy and he opened the door and walked right in basically almost shoving me out of the way ( not really smart when your running the wife over of the guy you are about to make you a deal on parts with). So that was the last time I was at Dale's work and that is what happened to me the last time. This time the guy not only opened it but smiled at me and said your welcome ( to my thanking him for opening the door). How freaking cool is that lmaoo Dale saw it all happen and asked "stop grinning like that, I will think I have something to worry about" lmaoo Of course he doesn't but was so super nice to not be a freak anymore.
What a great day!! Just had to share.

Wow! You never ever cease to amaze me. I love hearing about everyone's experiences. I too, had to go and finally get my wedding band resized. It was originally a 10.5, which is the same size as my hubby's. Well, I was getting a calous on my hand from the stupid plastic ring sizer thingy, so I finally gave in, spent the $24.99 and had it done. OMG.....It's now a size 8. A bit snug, but I know that with the 40lbs left to lose, I might have to have it done again. WOW. what a feeling.
Can you believe how chubby our fingers used to be? LOL I still cant believe it. Then I put my old rings on and its just SHOCKING to see how much space is between the ring and my finger. Nothing like a great reminder. I have never had a "woo hoo wedding ring" I had an original one but it was smashed and ruined when I got my hand smashed while working on one of our cars years ago and just had temp fill in rings every since lol. I kept gaining so the sizes got bigger so I finally just bailed on it and haven't worn anything for years. My goal is some where between 180 and 150 to get a "real" wedding ring. But *shrug* who knows.

5 wow moments in one day is MONUMENTAL.
You know what I've discovered now that I can fit in booths..I'm SHORT! REALLY SHORT!
Most places have heavily padded seats in those booths...so..I sort of just sink in and now that I'm not jammed in to the booth.....the table usually hits me at mid-chest. Just where it did when I was a kid (and the fact that my butt is now so flat it doesn't give me any extra "height" while seated..it doesn't help much). I get teased a lot forlooking so little in booths.
Great on the jeans too...I went prancing around in a pair of my hubbys pants a few weeks go - just to prove that they fit.
And here's to rings that are too big and all the other wow moments (and the many MANY more that are to come)!
