Hey guys on the Callie board they are trying this 5 day pouch test thing! I decided to jump on the band wagon with them. Only a day behind! You do 2 days of the liquid fast that you did immediately after the surgery basically. After weeks of NO weight loss I dropped over 2lbs this morning! WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!! I have waited so long to get under 200 and I have now reached it!!! I feel a new surge of postivity(if that's a word?)!!!! I now feel like I can really make it to my goal by my Bday/ Surgiversary(11/2,10/31) I AM GONNA DO THIS!!!! DAINETTE

Congratulations on the 2 pounds!! Isn't it amazing how excited we get over 2 pounds?? Just one question, how do you feel just doing liquids? Does your body let you know you are hungry?

Hey Holly! I gotta say yesterday was definitel a test! I had a rough go of it! Didn't realize how much I had taken up snacking!!! It was an eye opener for sure! I have been reading a lot about how after this surgery we tend to get in ruts of eatting basically the same things over and over! Studies seem to show that our bodies adjust to it and therefore we go in those crazy stalls. But it shows that by unsettling our system for even one day that we can give ourselves a kick in the buttatta and restart our process. I hope this holds true for me!!! But the liquid part for 2 days is definitely not a walk in the park! I don't know that I really had hunger! I had 4 protein drinks and 5 bottles of water, as well as, 2 glasses of crystal light yesterday. So far today I have had 2 bottles of water and a protein drink. I am walking back over to my office in a couple of minutes and make another protein drink. I will then drink a water around 1:30 and 4pm and then at 5:30 another protein drink. I figure another bottle of water around 7 and maybe another crystal light before bed. Tomorrow I start soft foods. That's the stage I am at pretty much most of the time. I am going to try to go on to the next stage after that maybe I will stretch those out a lil too! Not hungry yet though! Thanks for asking Dainette

Congratulations Dainette!!! I wish I could kickstart my body to lose weight again. I have been at all stall for weeks. Maybe I should try it? In any case, welcome to wonderland!!!! Allison

I'm convinced. I'm going to head to the store to stock up on protein shake mix. I want to drop these 10-20 pounds so badly. I feel like such a failure because I have been stalled at 160ish range for months now.

Good for you!!! CONGRATULATIONS! I have also been thinking of going full liquids as I lose really slow anyway and had dropped another 2 a couple of weeks ago, but have now gained 5. Gaining is NOT an option! Being in onederland is awesome, isn't it? Dawn
