Wednesday Roll Call
Good Morning Octoberites!!!
I am working today and now getting ready for the "sometimes annual Back to School Tie Dye Party" at my house on Sunday. I just LOVE to tie dye and share the fun with friends! I will be running to the various second hand stores at lunch for the next couple of days looking for stuff to dye.
I am enjoying reading everyone's tidbits of life.
Felicia-----WAY TO GO GIRL!!!! It won't be too terribly long before you leave those teens behind also.
Everyone say a prayer and keep Holly in your thoughts as she deals with a rough patch in her life. I am sending her lots of cyber love...........
I am going to try to get my bike tires filled with air tonight so I can see if I can still ride. I'd better do it soon before the weather won't let me.
We are looking forward to a beautiful weekend weather-wise----sunny and low 80's. Can't ask for much better than that!
Everyone have a lovely day!
Dawn
I am working today. It's so quiet here and I wi**** was a little busier! I have so much on my mind that when its quiet it gives me more time to think! The strut in my car is broken so I have to rely on my boss and my in-laws to get me to and from work! Hopefully my car will be fixed tonight! Rachel and I haven't been able to get to Curves at all this week and I think the exercise would be a good thing with all the stress I am experiencing right now!
It is supposed to be HOT and HUMID here today! In the 90's! It's alittle overcast right now, though. The weekend is supposed to be gorgeous and I promised to take my daughter and her friend to Erie (about 90 minutes from here) to the big mall to shop for school clothes!!
Have a good day everyone!
Holly
Well, I was supposed to have my consultation with the PS today. I rescheduled and not really sure why. I chickened out! My hubby isn't fond of the whole idea so maybe its guilt. In any case, my appointment is now for next Wed. The problem is, I plan on going back to work next week and I will have to leave early for this appointment. I also canceled my appointment with the pain management doctor today. What is wrong with me???? In all seriousness I do think I am going through some type of depression. On a better note, I got a haircut today! Nothing else planned for the rest of they day.
Felicia, hope you had a great homeschool kickoff.
Holly, I am thinking and praying for you.
Dawn, I hope you enjoy your bike today. How do you tie dye?
Patricia, enjoy the night! Walk-in hair dressers should be fine for a quick trim.
Tabby, I want your job too!!! LOL I hope you were able to get some rest today.
Come to think of it out farmers market is today too! I won't be going though, can't walk too far yet without pain.
Take care
Allison
Good morning all.
Good luck with the bike tires and riding Dawn. I love my bike.
Holly - keeping you in my thoughts and prayers especially...I hope you find some time to work out that stress in a big way at some point.
I'm at work, as always. I'm finishing up a huge project - I want it off my desk...TODAY!
The Boy (I guess I should call him The Hubby now)...is going out to a ball game with a friend tonight. I have the evening to myself. I'm planning to head to the local farmers market on the way home from work for our weekly supply of produce and maybe some locally raised chicken as well. I love to walk around good "producers only" farmers markets in the summer.
If I have enough time, I may get a haircut as well. My hairdresser doesn't have Wednesday night appointments - so I'll have to go to a walk-in type place..but I just want a trim...I can't imagine they would mess that up...right?
Our Farmers Market is tonight to. I haven't managed to make it once this summer >=( But hey there is always another shot at it lol at least till the season is over. Sadly its mostly food eats type booths and craft stuff. There is a bit of veggies thrown in here and there but not as much as I wish. That and you have to be there as soon as the bell rings and know what you want and be ready to grab it or its all gone by 15 mins after the bell rings. I am a laid back shopper lol and no string beans are worth losing an arm for *grin*.
Good luck with the hair cut!!!
*huggles*

Welp I am a wreck this morning.
Today is our first official "home school" function. Our Kick Off is being held at the local park/lake and Joshua and I are going to go. We are not "official" anything until next year when he would be 7 for the school year but this is our first year of participating. I tried to join in a few years ago but never really fit in. We are not religious, Joshua was only 4 and he was (is) a single child. This caused a bit of trouble ( not going to get into it here). Then there was the weight thing. I had NO confidence and was anywhere from 390 to 400lbs when I tried to go to the meetings. Needless to say I stood out in the crowd. I had never seen such a room full of skinny people in my life lol. No one spoke to me nor came near me. I went home basically in tears thinking that this was going to be a very lonely road to travel.
Anyways fast forward several years and here we are. I am over 200lbs thinner and lets just say I can handle what ever treatment I get this time head on. Something tells me though that lol now I would be "just one of the Mom's" and I think that is really sad but its kind of the way it works I guess.
I have to admit that I am really nervous. Usually Dale takes the day off for things like this but well with the Burn The Point on Friday and all the vacation time he took next week for our trip and Joshua's birthday it just wasn't going to happen. Ok and secretly I think he thinks this is good for me lol. He left me a beautiful *tear jerking* note this morning and even a bit of spending cash to make sure we had a good send off and a good time. What can I say my hubby rocks.
So with that the plan for the day is to run up to the KickOff, then swing by Gianans for some seed then pick up some lunch. Other then that not sure what else.
I hope everyone has just a super day. I will catch up with the board this afternoon.
Much love and *huggles*

P.S. I made it into the "teens" yesterday and managed to stay there today to! I am officially out of the 220's and now weigh 219lbs! YIPPIE FOR ME!!!!!!!!!
By now you have probably left for your Kick Off, but I just wanted to tell you to take a deep breath.....relax......you will be fine and will knock their socks off!
If not, then the skinny b*****s don't know what they are missing!
I hate pretentious, stuck-up women who can't relate to us REAL women! (can ya tell?)
Hope your day was wonderful!
Dawn
Good Morning everyone. I'm up A LOT earlier than usual on a Wednesday. I worked last night, but didn't have ANYONE to watch Megan for Today, so I am up with her. Finished work at 6am, crawled in bed and didn't get to sleep until 6:30, then Meg woke up at 9:30...let me just say I am REALLY looking forward to naptime today. Nate is a Pre-K and Pappy is picking him up from there this afternoon, so it is just me and the princess for the day. We are on our second princess movie (she doesn't get much girl TV time when Nate is here). I need to make some calls for halls and caterer's for my High School Reunion that I am planning for next fall. I'll probably just try to do things to keep me busy and awake today. I need to run to Walmart later, but need to get us showers first. No rush for that. Then this evening I am working again. I'm praying for a slow night so I can sleep some at work. Last night was pretty steady and I didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked...LOL.
I also want to call my PS to see if he can e-mail me a quote that includes implants. The quote I got in the office did not include them. It was just the lift. It shouldn't take any more OR time, since he is already doing the lift, so the only add'l cost should be the price of the implants themselves, but who knows how they do those things. I'm sure they milk it for what they can.
Congrats Felicia on getting in the teen's and staying there for two days. GOODBYE 220's!!! WTG!!!
Holly, I hope that you find something to keep your mind off of things. I know my mind races more with downtime, too. It is hard to find busy stuff at work, atleast when I am at home I can find things to keep me busy. You're definately in my thoughts.
Dawn, good luck getting those tires filled and hitting the road. I want to buy a bike, but then I need to get a seat for Megan to ride on and something for Nate and Dave. Lots of expense in me getting a bike to ride, lol.
Patricia, I hope you get a good trim today and get that project finished. Best of luck to ya.
Hope everyone has a great day!!!! Happy Hump Day!!!
Hugs,
Tabby
