Monday Roll Call / Weigh In Day!!
Hope you don't mind Dawn thought I would just combine them. =80)
Wanna know how I know? We have a mouse. YUP! Saw the little critter scramble across my living room floor this morning. Horrid little monsters. BUT with that is a sign that Fall is coming as every year we get at least once mouse. Guess its time for a trip to Wally World for some "special mouse food". Cant let the little things go hungry now can we *insert evil laugh here*.

On the weigh in front: *sigh* Lost 1 lb last week. I am never going to get out of the 220's I swear lol. Oh well 1lb is 1lb right? That still gives me all week to make it not only into the teens but to at least get back up to 10lbs a month loss. Fun part is that Fitday predicted me to be at 222lbs today. I am at 220 lbs today so I beat that projection by 2 lbs!! BEST part is that I am 75% of the way to goal!

Slow and steady wins the race, as they say, and I keep telling myself that! LOL One pound gone is one pound gone. This time last year I would have been happy if I had only GAINED a pound. Gosh!
Anyway Here are my numbers
beginning weight 287
last week 154
this week 153
total loss 134
and only 3 pounds until I reach my goal.
Good Morning Felicia and all of the board!!!
I can't join in on the weight thing because I forgot to weigh this morning before I left home, but I would say that I am 165 today. That would be a 2 pound gain from last week, but it is also that TOTM, so I am not going to freak about it.
As for the roll call......
My weekend WOW: Olivia and I went shopping on Saturday and we saw a shirt in the junior's department that we both liked so we bought it to share! Olivia is my 11 year old, so it is pretty cool to be able to share shirts with her.
We went to a sober biker wedding on Saturday and it was outdoors. Considering that it had been raining for the past couple of weeks, the weather broke and it was a BEAUTIFUL day. I had never been to a biker wedding before and it is really cool. They made an aisle from all of the motorcycles and after they couple was presented, they "saddled up" and all went for a ride around town.
Yesterday, we did our last shift for the lemonade stand at the fair and closed it down for this year. It was not too bad, only a little bit slow and TONS of bees and flies swarming around all of the fresh fruit and sugar. It was interesting, because last year at the fair, working lemonade, Olivia got stung and we found out that she is allergic. So this year, I had her Epi-Pen and Clarinex in my pocket the whole time.
Today, the kids go back to school full time and David has his first freshman football game. It will be in Dubuque, Iowa, and I will not be able to go since it starts at 5:30 and I won't even be home from wor****il 5 or so. I am wishing them luck, because I don't think David is eligible to play yet either.
I caught up on all of the weekend posts, and noticed that there are some things I want to comment on:
Felicia----congratulations on the hair appointment, and NO, it is not silly at all. It is great that you are doing something for yourself and I can totally relate.
Allison----LOVE the new avatar!
Lisa-----SIZE 12 JEANS?????? How cool is THAT!!! I will be needing new jeans soon, and am curious what size they will be. We had a cool spell last week and all of my jeans were too big. I only have one pair that kind of fit, and were actually a bit uncomfortable (by being too big...)
That's about all that is going on in my world today.
Stop on by and let us know what's going on in yours........
Dawn
Before I start.....congrats on the hair appointment Felicia...it really is a huge thing - I still avoid getting my hair done...I always felt so self concious in the chair - I find myself, even now, making excuses about the expense or my lack of time.
Weigh in - still hovering around 171ish....up a pound, down a pound, over and over....
My weekend was relaxing for the most part. I got a lot of cleaning / housework done on Saturday morning (The Boy was working for a few hours). The highlight was finally unpacking the last box from the move.
We went to a birthday party / picnic on Saturday afternoon, evening...it was SOOOOOO hot. YOu really didn't want to move. We pushed ourselves to attempt two nearby geocaches while we were there (one was IN the park where the party was). that proved to be too much given the heat and we both ended up drenched with sweat and cranky and left for home.
We showered and then I got brave and decided that, since I had been so good all week...I wanted to try some sugar free ice cream from Maggie Moos...we drove over there and stood in line for 35 minutes only to find out they were sold out of all of their sugar free flavors. So The Boy got some ice cream and we went home.
Yesterday, after church and lunch w/ my brother and his wife, we hung out at the pool like slugs (I did swim a few laps). I made a yummy tilapia dinner and we just hung around for the rest of the night doing nothing and watching football.
Today is a typical Monday for me. It's the only night of the week I've been teaching lessons for the summer. So, it's work, then I have one piano lesson to teach, then I'll be going home and making dinner..that's about it.
I have been making hair appointment avoidance excuse for months lol Not sure exactly why other then brain issues. Man am I going to feel silly when I fit in those chairs and see that I probably have enough room to have fit months ago lmaoo
Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend!! Sorry to hear you missed the ice cream =(
Have a great week!!!
