To get my hair done *grin*. Yes I know "so?" Well I haven't had ANYTHING done to my hair ( other then Hubby lopping it off now and then ) since just before I was pregnant with Joshua ( He turns 7 in September if that gives you a clue how long ago ). I AM SO EXCITED!!! Its been so long since I could fit in the chairs at all let alone comfortably. I am getting it straightened and styled. YIPPIEEEEEEEEEEEE OK it needs a bit of color to but I can't do it all at one time lol. The appointment isn't till Sept 11th, as that is the next time they had free that Dale has time off work. But thats not THAT far away. Just had to share. Ok I know its silly but lol its a WOW/GOAL/MILESTONE type moment for me *grin*. Hope everyone is having a super day!! *huggles* Felicia =0)

Felicia - that is not silly, that is a much deserved WOW!! Next you can show us the color (pink? blue? maybe a flaming redhead??) then tell us about a manicure and pedicure and lots more WOW moments ahead in your life. Only another WLS person can appreciate how much it means to fit in a chair. It's those little pluses that make us sit up and say "Look at me. I'm doing GREAT". thanks for sharing and making this a super day.

LMAOOO I don't know about that "much" color lol but I was thinking just a little gray cover up. I always said I would go gray gracefully but just once I would like to be thin, with long hair AND not have gray *grin*. All the hair that fell out came back in gray. Hubby said its great cuz now I have gray too (just like him). Not so sure I see that as a "great" thing HAHAHAHA I waited way to long to get it done. Always wanted to get down to a weight to fit again. Hubby was telling me at lunch "ummmm you were getting your hair done at the same time we had Joshua". Well I was 300 then so I guess I lost my excuse more then a few pounds ago LMAOOO Thanks again. Seems so silly but I am so glad to have a place to share the "silly but you understand" moments. *huggles* Felicia =0)

Oh that sounds like fun!! Are you taking a girlfriend to share the fun? It was something me and mom did all the time together. Its not the same without her anymore. But, the grey's defintely have to go now. I never much cared before, now I go every other month. I cant stand to see the grey roots! And believe me, its about all grey now! LOL Yes, the fitting in the chair syndrome. I always managed to squeeze my fat butt into the chair, but was always worried the little foot lever thing would break when they would try and get me up and down. Poor little tiny hair dresser legs, pumping with everything they had to get the dang chair high enough! Ah well, good leg workout. Congrats on yet another milestone! You have did a wonderful job of pointing out the wow's along the way. Lots I never even stopped to think about. Lauri

Congratulations!! Way to go. There is a website that is free to upload your picture and it will put your face with any hairstyle to let you know in advance what you would look like before you have your hair done. You can even try out new hair colors to see if it will wash you out or not. I don't know for sure what it is, but while thumbing through a hairstyle magazine at Wal-Mart I say a full page ad advertising it. You might want to give it a try because I know when I pick a style I always stress and worry that I won't like it once I get it done. I think I will try it out next time before I get my hair done. I've always wanted to trying but when I saw it it was at a salon and they wanted $75 plus the cost of having your hair done.

Thanks!! I probably wont go "that" different though LOL I was hoping for some layers with out losing my length. Mostly though I just want this mess straightened. I wear it 99% of the time in a pony tail and will probably always do that so just something to control it would be nice LOLOL. As for color, I have had it every color in the rainbow ( and I seriously mean that lol) Red, blue, even hot pink and black once. My favorite was a full on blonde but I am way to lazy to keep it up any more. So just a gray cover up will work for me. Boring lol but livable. Thanks again!!! *huggles* Felicia =0)

Nope just going by myself. =0) I actually don't mind the gray I would just like it done up once so I could get some good pictures taken etc... Then lol I am going back to the grey. There is no way I will keep up with keeping it up. But I do like to keep it straightened as its normally out of control curly. But I only have to do that 2 or 3 times a year. I soooooooooooooo hear you about the poor little hair dressers. I swear I always got the ones that were like 90 lbs. I would jolt and jerk as she "pumped me up". Can we SAY embarrassing??? I still have some heft to pump up lolol but no where near what I used to *grin*. *HUGGLES* Felicia =0)

Woo Hoo! You will feel like a different woman! I wore mine long and straight like yours, and finally had mine cut - the first time I had changed "style" since 1968. I love it and I know that you will too!
