I joined a gym!!
If you are familiar with Curves its kind of like that. Its called The Circuit. Its only for women but in addition to the normal routine ( hydrologic machines and walking at 40 second intervals) you also can do the treadmill and the elliptical machines. There are also aerobic classes, palates and yoga classes. I am super excited!!! Turns out that my husband works with the owners husband lol Small world. BEST part is that I can go anytime I want because she allows kids!! When I used to go to Curves it was a pain in the butt cuz their hours sucked so I would have to get up before Dale went to work and hopefully squeeze in a work out or do it at 6pm yuck. This is awesome. I am so excited. The lady that runs it is a pistol. OMG she was going a 100 miles an hour. Was exciting which is just what I need. Someone that doesn't take no for an answer hahahaha. She was so excited for me. Before I left she had set me up with the "go to" hair dresser, a womens group, even a contact in the home school community ( guess they are great friends) and gosh not sure what else LMAOO Anyways this is HUGE for me as you all know "getting out there" is not one of my strong things lol. I start tomorrow afternoon. Was going to "put it off till Monday" as I am a Monday starter type person but changed my mind. Nothing keeping me from starting tomorrow so I said I would be there lol. I am so proud of myself. I find it annoying to still have the stupid fears of going out of the house due to my weight and this is a huge step forward, as not only am I going out lol but I am going out to shake it in front of a bunch of women I don't even know lol. Watch out girls here I come, skin wiggle and all LMAOOOO.
Hope everyone is having just a super day!!

WTG, Felicia!!! I know what a *HUGE* step this is for you...literally. Sounds like a great, fun place. You may make some new friends. How cool is that? I also didn't like that at Curves you couldn't take your kids, so you had to make arrangements to go when you had a sitter. Many times my mom and I would take the kids to our closest Curves (15 miles away, in town) and then would meet my hubby after he got off work and he would take the kids back home or sit in the parking lot with them until I was done. It sucked.
I wish you luck tomorrow and I hope you like it. Let us know how it goes.
Hugs,
Tabby
Thank you so much Tabby!!
YES I so hear you about Curves. I mean ya I get that most people put their kids in school so they can do during the day or they have sitters but a lot of women don't have that option or whatever... it amazes me that a gym for women would not offer an option for the actual women they are catering to for child care. Its the only place locally that doesn't have that option. Stupid if you ask me.
I am excited about this one. Its 5 mins from my house HAHAHA Joshua and I could actually walk over there if we didn't have to cross a busy highway to do it. Ahh maybe next year *grin* never know hahaha...
Have a wonderful day!!

I am proud of you for taking sucha big step! You will enjoy how your body and soul will feel after a good work out.
The connections you have made and will make will be a great mind booster. Enjoy!
Way to go for joining the gym and heading there today.
I planned on joining something in September after the kids head back to school, just because it is so much easier without them and I need the mommy time. LOL

Thank you so much Tara!! I cant wait to go this afternoon. Although I have to admit I woke up this morning and my first thought was "I wont go today I will start tomorrow" lol but I quickly threw that thought away and am going lol. I got up, got Joshuas DVD player out with a couple movies, so he is set to watch a good movie for the 30 mins that I am there. Nothing keeping me from going sooooooooooo off I will go lol.
Good luck to you getting started in September!!!
Have a wonderful day!!

Felicia!
I am sooooooo proud of you!!! Way to Go and it sounds like such a great place!!!
My daughter and I are "Curves" people. My kids are all grown up so I don't need to worry about a sitter, but I feel for the ladies who do have kids....Curves hours actually suck big time and it doesn't really do any good to complain! They are already set in their ways!!!
Keep us posted on how things are going!!
Hugs,
