Good morning!
The wedding was absolutely gorgeous!! The kids looked so nice!!! And it was a beautiful, but hot day!! I will post pictures as soon as I can!
I didn't fling any meatballs, although I have to admit, when I saw my S-I-L in the food line, I went up and stirred the meatballs! LOL....
The reception was wonderful until my daughter-in-law's family decided to jump my husband and I. They never once offered to help with anything when it came to the wedding! So, my husband and I told the kids that we would pay for the reception and that would be their wedding present and they were thrilled with that! Her parents NEVER ONCE offered to help with ANYTHING! Everytime the kids mentioned the wedding to them, they cried the bankruptcy story! Her father even told her he didn't have the money to rent a tux! Someone gave Jen their dress for her to wear and it needed cleaned around the bottom edges, so she brought it to my house and I helped her clean it up and she tried it on for me....her mother NEVER saw her in the dress until the day of the wedding!!!!!!! Shouldn't her mother have been the one to help her clean it etc....?!?!
Anyway, her aunt jumped all over me at the reception about not asking them for help ...etc....she made Jen cry and my son was pissed....that seems to be all they can remember about their wedding reception! I think I'm still in shock that they didn't have the nerve to wait until after everything was over! My husband said they waited until after they stuffed their faces full of food and beer and then they decided to say something! I felt like an idiot, because I cried...Jen thought I was mad at her and I thought she was mad at me, but in the end I think we realized we were just upset with her family! The kids came back to our house afterwards and opened their presents...they made out well with money and gas cards and gift certificates. They didn't even tell her parents how much they received.
Other than that, it was beautiful. I can't wait to post some pictures for all of you to see. Sorry I kind of rambled a bit, like I said, I think I'm still in shock over the whole thing!

I am so glad to hear the wedding was beautiful and went well.
As for the inlaw - I can still see my reception - Hubby's sister and her husband standing in the middle of it SCREAMING at each other that "their daughter got preggo to spite them, no she didn't, yes she did, back and forth, back and fourth" to the point the actually had the JUDGE in the middle of it. What a party *sigh*. I can honestly say the only good thing that happened that day is I got married LMAO.
