I need some advice...
I would also stay away from them.......the pills, diets and gimmicks is how we got to be where we were.
Hang in there......up your water and protein. Make sure you are getting at least 80 oz of water per day and at least 80-100 g of protein. Lower your carbs.
I know how you feel......I feel like the slowest loser EVER......I have been losing 2-4 pounds a month, (as opposed to per week). I get very frustrated as "normal" people should lose and average of 2 lbs. per week "eating right and exercising" and sometimes, even after surgery, I only lose that much in a month.
The bright side is.......I lost 2 pounds 2 weeks ago and 2 pounds last week after not losing anything at all for 3 or so weeks (I stopped weighing, it was too depressing.....).
I cut back on the carbs and upped the water. I have always done 3 shakes per day (each with 1.5 scoops) so the protein is not the problem here, but make those adjustments if you haven't already.
If you are doing everything within range, then just hang in there. I was told by many people that they experienced a LONG stall at 8-9 months out, but that the losing DID begin again. It's just your body's way of catching up.
Of course, adding more exercise will also help, but I am not great at following that advice, so I am not one to preach about it.
Hang in there, you CAN do it!!!!

I agree with Annette and Dawn. Don't take those type supplements. We were given a tool with our WLS. Now the honeymoon period is over and we have to actually WORK the tool. Dawn had great advice. Up the protein and water and if you aren't exercising, start. If you are change it up a bit. Our bodies get complacent with the same routine and needs change. Also measure. Even if you aren't losing pounds the inches may be going.
And, most important, don't STRESS over it. Stress causes our bodies to retain pounds too. So, just let it go. Work the tool and wait a few weeks before you weigh again. The pounds will start going when your body is ready.
Hope this helped!!

I say stay away from the pills too!
I would really check every morsel of food put in your mouth. Be honest, as I know how easily I don't count a bite here or there. Fitday is a great tracking site but I am sure there are others.
You may actually need to up your intake a little to rekindle the fire. Sounds weird, I know but that is what the NUT instructed me to do and for some reason I have lost 10 pounds since June 21st. I was at a crawl with my weight loss and it was so frustrating.
If you see a NUT regularly, then take a weeks worth of tracking to them and they will be able to direct you in the right direction.
Good Luck, I know how frustrating this can be.
