I need recommendations

I am only 8 1/2 months post op and have lost 157 lbs. I know I have more to go but I need to know if plastic surgeons in NJ are really good and take insurance for WLS patients. I am getting info right now so I know what I am working with. The surgeon that I wanted doesnt take my insurance and he was the best. But since he doesnt take my insurance, I was wondering who else would be excellent as well. Thank you

Jennifer, I am not ready for plastics, however, here's a few tips.... ( I work in the insurance industry) Call your insurance company and find out what surgeons accept your insurance. Then research those doctors. You can find them by searching on the Plastic Surgeon's page http://www.plasticsurgery.org You can also search on OH for the plastics board and post your question, maybe others are from your area. HEY JENNIFER, I AGREE W/ MOLLY, CHECK W/ YOUR INSURANCE CARRIER AND SEE WHICH PLASTIC SURGEONS PARTICIPATE IN YOUR PLAN. YOU CAN ALSO ASK THE SURGEON WHO YOU WANTED FOR YOUR PLASTICS TO RECOMMEND ANOTHER SURGEON THEN SEE IF HE/SHE ACCEPTS YOUR INSURANCE. And, one last thing to add to what Molly and Donna have already said. Post this question on your state board. Maybe there is someone in your area who can recommend a surgeon who is on your insurance. Hope you find the info you need!! Susan
