To Spanx or not to Spanx?
I got a pair of spanx months ago - at the time I was 10# over the max. weight the package says. Now I am in the weight range, however, I am not comfortable in them when I wore them last week to work, I felt as if I was losing my panties the question I have is: Do anyone else have this problem? Am I not wearing the right size? I am trying to do something about the drape I have, but no success here with spanx-which I have heard rave reviews about. Any suggestions !!!! Thanks!!
Tried em, Hate em! I got a size that fit me, but I just don't like the way that they fit. They don't "hold" me in like I thought they should. I have a friend that swears by them, but now after wearing them every day, she gets rashes.
I just resorted back to a simple girdle. Yup, the old granny type but they did the job. Even though they cost the same, I'll take my girdle instead of the spanx.

I have not been able to find Spanx or Flexees that really seemed to fit. Either they were too large and did nothing to camoflage my apron or they were too tight and squeezed everything out the top and/or bottom.
I like Arielle "granny panties" from JCPenney. I get the high cut briefs. They have just enough spandex to hold me in without the sausage casing look. They also "breathe" better to keep you from developing a rash, fungus, or yeast infection. They are MUCH more affordable too.

I didn't go with spanx as I didn't want to spend the $$$ for it. Instead, I bought a body brief from Wal-Mart ($15). It fits my body well. Now that I'm getting smaller, I'm thinking about trying a regular girdle now...we'll have to wait and see when I shrink out of what I have now...
Hope you are able to find something that works for you.

I had bought a pair of SPANX four months before my RNY surgery to wear to my nieces wedding. I didn't like them at all. They were size E. Two months after having my surgery I wore them again and LOVED them. My mom had a pair that was size C and didn't like them, so now I am even wearing hers and still LOVE them. They hold everything in so well and they are so comfortable. They provide just the right support to my low back, which hurts a lot. I bought the high-rise ones that actually come up and tuck under my bra..... I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Since they tuck in under my bra there is no fat roll anywhere.
